  1. Past hour
  2. Okie dokie. Olin collects the wisdom and articulation of Coach Ivy League Grad. Olin. I feel a theme coming on. Amaze me. Prey. Noun-verb thing. Fairly promising. Compliments. Eat a dick. I've rankled. I "pray" you don't hate me forever. I don't get it. Let's proceed, shall we? Bam! Hunting. Work it, Olin! * At the end of the year, LSU was ranked second! And it was still an upset victory for 10th ranked A&M! Standby for gangsta reversal of mood. Cue Ice Cold Olin: Day-yum. Truth bomb and rhyme. You gotta give me something, bro. This actually reads like writing. Save me, Olin! Roma asks for a miracle. Olin gives him the F B I The Elk. Sooo, Elko displays his thorough knowledge of A&M football history. They were in a totally new position. Starting fast, flying high, and, then, shockingly, the flaming spiral to 8-4. Nobody saw it coming because the dear old Texas Aggies from Texas had never been there before. Didn't handle well or the "right way?" Astounding the world, the Aggies emerged from their heroic victory over the Bowling Green Seniors primed for greatness, and... Like Alanis says, you learn. You "learn" that you play football games to finish a season. Keen insight. Next year, we learn that winning some of them might be important, too. It's a steep learning curve in College Station. Coming up on 90 years. Hunted? Everybody saw A&M as their Super Bowl. Of course. I guess the learn thing works for Elko. He doesn't know how to win a natty like Jimbo does. Olin's got his hooks in this week's theme: Bam! Deduct points for no chip on the shoulder. Shrew understatement with "a little bit." I Vee League. Sick burn, Olin. tee hee hee, sippie. Time to pump Reed: Why do this to yourself, Olin? Lagway's last five games reg season (didn't play us) Winning Reed's Losing Just stop. Nobody wants to trade Lagway for Reed. I skip some of the usual babble to get to this weeks Elko Mysterious Sentences and of course, Olin's big finish: 1 Ad nauseum is not a good thing, you know that don't you? 2 What team? What are you talking about? 3 Have it tatooed on your wrist so you can roll up the long sleeve of your baby nightshirt and see American football. 4 There it is! The annual chip of victory! And it's a strong chip! It's a gym rat chip! Olin brings another one into port.
  3. Scottie finally showing that he's human on #8 May see lead shrink to 4 shots...
  4. I'd just like to see the data and analysis that goes into these decisions. My complaints are rooted in nostalgia for seeing the 70's and 80's era logos and branding. I prefer many of the old school, classic looks.
  5. The article is confusing. One part says moving to TN, later notes that corporate has moved back to Baldwin Park. “You’ve got to do this, you have to wear a mask, you gotta put this plastic thing up between us and our customers and it was really terrible.” What a sniveling cunt.
  6. The director seems to have figured out he’s got something with a young Rami Malek. He gets into more and more shots.
  7. Did Jap Lane in Vidor ever get renamed? Asking for Bill Parcells
  8. Your burger is good but a touch overrated and your fries are straight running garbage, you've overexpanded and that has likely hurt whatever quality you did have.
  9. kidding aside good call.
  10. He's putting himself to the test right now.
  11. He's deflating all these people on the course that are quipping at him saying, Rory is coming to get ya.
  12. Super generic argument but not surprised.
  13. Yea, Luca pulled some Obi Wan shit on her
  14. Good point from a branding standpoint. Seems like someone is always questioning how iconic a brand really is and whether it needs a refresh. Usually some new marketing dufus that wants to make a name for herself, e.g. Steve Patterson. One advantage teams have is that they can "test market" by running out unis for a game or two without changing their whole branding. Something a lot of companies can't do.
  15. I fear the day we have to do any kind of migration the only benefit I guess is according to our customers, that moves you to Net 5000 terms. “Oh, we moved to a new system”
  16. Hahahaha toying with the course
  17. We have titans of industry named Lynsi. We are doomed
  18. One of my favorites of theirs. "Lives were somehow changed by a loathsome toothless geezer incoherent and deranged"
  19. I’m not sure Texas beats Ohio state with Arch - coulda happened. And if R Wingo isn’t shoe string tackled and the defense and PK didn’t stroke out the last play of the first half Texas wins with Quinn. Texas wins it all with those two play reversals imo. Same with year before one lazy route and throw at the end of the Wash game from a great matchup with Michigan. Arch gets the ball against those teams you can’t assume he plays like he did against Miss State. His upside is HUGE but the experience differential last year was huge as well. I think it’s the evolution of the program from out right losers, to kinda winners, to winners almost all of the time, to on the doorstep of championships, and next up is conference and national titles. Lots of ifs and buts so who the fuck knows. Oh wait. SURLY KNOWS!
  20. so which reporter is going to ask him "I know you've won 2 majors but how do you feel about your chances in the fedex cup playoffs?"
  21. If Scottie had played the par 5s better this week, he’d be up by a dozen.
