Here's the thing: for most Repuglicans, "release the files! Protect victims of sex trafficking!" was just performative bullshit meant to get votes, that's it. They don't believe it, never did, and actually, they like sex trafficking just fine because it's among the purest examples of the powerful using and abusing the powerless, which is the core Repuglican ethos. But a handful of them apparently actually bought the message - Massie seems to be one of them. I know people who have worked, for decades, in the world of enforcement against sex trafficking and rehabilitation of victims of sex trafficking. It's real shit, although the perpetrators and victims are 99% much less interesting and glamorous than the players here. But that said, they welcome any allies they can get. And it's amazing that we live in a time where the approach of "if you say you're concerned about sex trafficking, and are against sex trafficking, then you should actually BE against sex trafficking" is a controversial one tells you what a world of shit we're in.

Walser started following Jeffrey Epstein needs his own thread

I took it pass/fail. Which, ironically, is stupid enough to have earned an A.

Walker looks like he’s a nursing a hamstring or something. It never looks like he’s at top speed. -

People with a brain see it, sure. Then again, we were saying all manner of this shit during his campaign as well. And look how that turned out?

The biggest change needed is the guaranteed money scam. Schools should say yep, your money is guaranteed unless you are fired for cause... losing football games is a cause. -
the shank from 29 was inexplicable. luckily it didn't cost us. I thought he'd be better from 50+ but I still feel he's good if we need him to win a game. His kicks don't feel to be all over the place. He was pushing in the Vandy game some but it was the same "push" most of the game. I'd rather have that than Bert who you never knew whether his kick would be a push or a pull. really hard to correct that.
-
I mean, you're the one who's pretending Bert is awful again this year, because he's sitting behind a "FAU transfer who went 2-7 in 2024". That same 2-7 guy is now 9-10 with a long of 53 and 29/29 in XP, so yeah, obviously Bert is going to stay the backup.

While true, Willie was a power hungry dude. I mean, look what he married. Getting trump to get on his knees and suck his dick is some Roman Empire level power move shit
-
Aren't we all? He'll go looking a lot better than say, Tom DeLay. Remember that pos? Exactly. If you choose a hill to die on, literally, I think protecting the victims of trafficking isn't an altogether bad one.

Coach O rumored to be in the running at Pig. CFB needs corch O. Tell 'em about it JoJo. -
That's pretty harsh man. A lot of them were probably just brainwashed from an early age. You know how many times VY thanked God?
-
I used that link all season. No worries. You get 2 ads, and on the 3rd time it opens up. If they're gonna steal my shit, they're patient as hell.
-
I’m really disappointed in slick Willie’s lack of standards.

You done fucked up there. Coaching search firms are about as useful as a bunch of new-hire McKinsey Consultants coming into your company HQ and telling you how to "improve efficiencies". -
BING-FUCKING-GO. And she was fucking RIGHT. Pay attention to how Trump has run the executive branch. He has done so EXACTLY as a mob boss would do so, including ample use of threats, punishment, and negative consequences for people who don't do what he wants. And when confronted by such a dynamic, MOST people choose NOT to cross the mob boss, testify against the mob boss, etc. I don't even have much experience with that dynamic, but it doesn't take much to understand it. Hell, I had a federal criminal appointment. I represented a low-level player. He could have gotten a major sentence reduction if he'd flip on his higher-ups. He told me what he knew, and it was good stuff. We set up the meeting. Walk into the room with the AUSA and lead FBI agent. My guy....clams up. Completely and totally. Authorities are not surprised. Afterwards, I ask him WTF, he explains "they know where my family is." And that was that. Trump is a fucking criminal mobster. Very, very few people are going to cross him, because he has always made it plain - either directly, or through his fixers -- that he will hurt the fuck out of you and yours if you do so. Start treating Trump like a criminal, in every imaginable way, and you'll begin to understand what we're dealing with here. An explanation/question of "oh yeah, well then why aren't people coming out and testifying against him?" has the same answer of "why weren't people lined up down the block to testify against John Gotti?"
