It would be extra glorious if Florida beats Georgia, but Florida is a mess. Their QB is basically Ewers with his injuries. Let's not forget Napier is still running that team.

Or ten years out, if you're my tough little Gramama.

There is a wide spectrum of "scoring" music, and one need not stoop to ABBA or Air Supply. For instance, the first time my now-wife and I . . . well, you know . . . it was preceded by a couple of hours of Kelly Willis and John Hiatt. Great tunes AND sexy time. And 4 kids, a mortgage, tuition out the ass and no vacations in the forseeable future. Fuck Kelly Willis and John Hiatt.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen

I'm glad I'm not alone in not liking Mack or Dodds. I'm grateful for our '05 NC and '04 Rose Bowl win, and for Colt years, but he was so thin-skinned and such a pussy. I've finally just reached a level where I still dislike him for what he did at the end, but he's been gone for 15 years. I just don't want him around our program thinking he's some righteous deity who gets a say in anything Texas football related. -

Oh....and I did. Don't lie, if you're of a certain age, you know ALL the Carpenters songs. She could, but.... ...also this. No apologies, no ragrets. And....if it increased your chances of scoring (and it often did), all the better.

My advice would be to post this in the "can you help me with this" section.

Mine is all fractional because I can always scratch up a small amount of savings, but psychologically never quite make it to an ounce. Not logical, but there it is. In my defense I got about half of it at or below melt by making deals with friends, or working the old eBay Bucks angle, which no longer exists. -
Pedochet’s an asshole. Look at his haircut. Anyone with a haircut like that, you know he’s an asshole.

They hated that he didn't suck up and used his drinking and related habits as their behind-closed-doors way of telling themselves that they "had no choice." That is literally the language they used with one another. -
Really he should get to be eligible twice. If Obama hadn’t helped Hilary he would have won bigly and been able to accomplish more. So that one didn’t count. And of course Joe stole 2020. So that’s two terms he didn’t get. But the election part we can skip because he already won those, we are just giving the makeup terms he was denied.

I am extraordinarily grateful for the current state of Texas athletics. 1984 to 1997 I wasn't sure if Texas as an institution was going to even care that much about football any more. Then Hicks and Evans got involved at the board of regents level, helped bring Mack Brown on, and I've never had to question the commitment to football since. But even then I didn't really like Dodds or Brown, although I enjoyed our successes under them. That doesn't matter. I don't have to like the people in charge as long as we're winning. But the last two years have been ideal. On just about every level. I love our board of regents chair. I love our athletic director. Our coach feels like the right guy for the job. He's someone I'd love to sit down and have a beer with, and neither one of us drink. We're highly successful. We appear to have a plan on nearly every level. I have a huge amount of admiration for the people who took the initiative to put an NIL structure in place from the grass roots. I contributed jack squat to speak of to that effort but as a fan I've been able to reap the rewards. We need to win a title, but I feel confident that's coming. In the meantime, I have basked in our off season relevancy. We practically owned the SEC media day coverage. Even when we weren't' being talked about, it's like the people involved were going out of their way not to talk about Texas and Arch Manning because they were so sick of it. As far as Derrick Cooper, it's the Miami fans that have been fun to watch. They're acting like they're being walked to the guillotine. Hopefully the good guys come out on top today and I get to enjoy the regional fan bases go out of their minds again at another Texas recruiting victory. -
Everybody on? Good, great, grand, wonderful! NO YELLING ON THE BUS!
