  1. Past hour
  2. Teams aren't punished for playing 1 FCS team on their schedule. Instead of playing an FCS team, Texas schedules a conference USA or sunbelt team. I don't think subbing a CUSA team for a southland team is much of an advantage.
  3. Nah, Trump is gonna import Argentinian beef for everybody!
  4. Today I learned Michael Jackson is still alive.
  5. Yes. I do not want to see Sam Houston State at DKR.
  6. Perfect pass spoiled
  7. no. but im $ure tho$e higher up$ with the NCAA didn't mind a 1v2 opening week match up with Ohio $tate
  8. Anything less than what I suggested is a massive mistake
  9. Not only do tough OOC games get held against a team, teams also get rewarded for playing FCS schools.
  10. Brilliant footwork, Mooney.
  11. Non-CFP bowl games are no longer "marquee" bowl games. Times have changed.
  12. That was a 4 team playoff. If you dont even make a 12 team playoff then it's back to the drawing board and you need to find out what you have going forward. Every school should just use it to play their backups that will be back next season. Maybe that would get the NCAA to cancel these stupid exhibition games and go to mandatory p4 non con round robin and a 16 team playoff.
  13. Washed truck and dried him with yellow micro towel from Wal-Mart. Worst towel ever. Do any of yall have a to go to dry towel?
  14. 17-3 Pitt at Balt.
  15. Well, there is a non-zero chance tOSU or Michigan pulls the plug on playing us in Austin. I wouldn't be upset if they did. They'd have to pay us.
  16. Anyone still think big OOC games are worth it? "But we did what's best for the sport! Yipee!!!"
  17. That's not going to happen. What is going to happen is expansion.
  18. Yep, only reason I'd watch a second of it no matter who we play is if Lacey and the freshmen played all game. This is nothing but a glorified scrimmage. Dont care if we lose by 40. Just play all the freshmen.
  19. Because it's the SEC-cupcakes way.
  20. A whole slew of teams across the land lost only 1-2 games, making it hard to overlook our stumbling losses and unimpressive wins vs. several mids. We also were pretty bad on the road, and I can see how a third party skimming highlights of our home win over Vandy might view us as lucky to have gone 9-3. In short, we gave the committee all the ammo it needed to justify ignoring us. That said, there aren't 12 teams I'd favor over us on a neutral field next week.
  21. He also called anyone who thought 10-2 Miami would get in over 9-3 Texas "mongoloids". The criteria are fuzzy, and so the results can seem absurd. Until the CFP committee locks down the criteria (which would likely mean they render themselves irrelevant) there are always going to be head-scratcher results. Ultimately, I'm not all that upset, because this team just isn't great. It's very good, but I don't think a run to the finals would be in the cards. I would have liked to have had the chance, though.
  22. Yeah, that's not happening. We'll probably get rid of Notre Dame. Arizona State isn't someone we should worry about beating.
