  2. damn Elko looks like he's in his 17th trimester
  3. I mean, does he though? When Sark talks about the O-line and "large humans", it seems like he is the driving force behind who we ultimately pick. It's entirely possible that Flood is the "I told you so" guy.
  4. he didn’t, but he wasn’t in to football either
  5. The more I sift through the other bubble teams, the more I think we have a decent shot. --- We passed Michigan and Utah in SOR, and I think those are gimmes. It's impossible to keep Vandy above us. --- We have 3 good wins, 2 good losses, 1 bad loss. Miami has 1 good win, 2 bad losses. Notre Dame has no good wins (maybe USC?, but that a far worse win than above), 2 good losses. --- BYU and Bama seem out if they lose. Tech's SOR hits the floor if they lose, I really think this might be elimination for them as well. --- When you start comparing resumes higher up, it's really hard to keep OU above us. ------- I think 13 is our absolute floor for this week, which might end up first out if things go chalk, but, man, there's strong arguments we end up 8 if things do go chalk.
  6. One big difference between FSU 2023 and Ole Miss this year is that we all got to witness the horror of a Travisless FSU team whereas we don't get to see Ole Miss play without Kiffin until the playoff/bowl game. That said, there is absolutely precedent for dropping Ole Miss out of consideration due to the staff changes. ETA - dropping Ole Miss also screws Kiffin out of any bonuses he would have received for their performance in the playoffs.
  7. That’s not my point. The SOS disparity is a huge problem when teams don’t play a lot of OOC games. SEC and Big 10 get penalized.
  8. It is reckless to leave a handgun in a car. Please don't do that.
  9. Clearly you're not from bEAST Texas.
  10. Compared to the playoff field, I'd say Texas is superior to A&M and OU by a couple scores each, and maybe about a 1 TD dog to Ohio State if that game is played in Columbus.
  11. His account: I highlighted the stuff about the belt because it looks like it was lifted from Gay Letters to Penthouse. I'm not even gay, and I found it oddly arousing. Mainly, I'm glad @Scholz realized these Aggies were not to be messed with.
  12. I get that perspective, and understand I'm arguing in a vacuum. But if part of the discussion is -- as it has been in the past -- who are the best teams right now for the playoffs, an 11-1 Ole Miss team right now is going to be worse that the same team was a week ago. That much worse to drop from playoff consideration completely? I don't know. But it's a valid discussion.
  13. I'm shocked Donkey Cigars is back apologizing for anything and everything, which is particularly weird, because he used to be quite vocal about no foreign wars.
  14. I guarantee I probably over estimated due me trying to not bust my ass on the wet algae covered concrete. She was a healthy gal.
  15. Jigsaw has a theory:
  16. The Athletic's mathematical model has the Cowboys at 98% to make the playoffs if they win out. If they go 4-1, it's in the neighborhood of 50%, depending on who the loss is to. Losing to Detroit this week is the worst scenario. If the Cowboys finish 3-2 or worse, it's over.
  17. A big benefit of P&Z is that you earn points really quickly. If you fly a few times a year, you'll earn free parking easily.
  18. A James Madison upset of aggy at College Station would be glorious and would heal some of the wounds from being left out.
  19. You just don't understand how this all involves the global cabal of our enemies.
  20. I doubt it was dotard doing all the posting. I'd put money on this guy being behind it:
  21. You are talking about a committee comprised of former coaches that appreciate the calendar is a mess which is causing the changes before the playoffs + AD's who appreciate their school could get f'd if their team is in a similar position with a hot coach and would never want to set that precedent. I don't think any chance a committee with that background punishes Ole Miss regardless of whether they should or not.

  23. The crowd is a little younger but the location and balconies can’t be beat, I guess I might be concerned it is cool enough to not enjoy the balcony in late December but that is just up to chance.
  24. check check out the guy running the vomit machine
  25. To be clear, none of this was meant to show up any of you. You know who this was aimed at. So I apologize to anyone that caught strays along the way. Elguapo, it would be an ideal world if Quinn could climb the pocket there and evade the free defender. However, asking that is like coming home and getting mad at the 5 year old because they didn't cook themselves breakfast while your significant other slept in til noon. I am guilty of it too. I don't know how many times I've gotten irritated with Arch because he held the ball or didn't get it out to his checkdown. We humans love to blame people for not performing better in extremely shitty situations instead of asking WHY they are in those shitty situations in the first place. Look at how we view the poors. We are all guilty of it.
