  2. Trump sues Wall Street Journal over Epstein report, seeks $10 billion Reuters Link This is a really long article so I tried to clip the highlights. A few points or my editorial on this piece of news. First, the Wall Street Journal is a lot of things. It leans conservative typically, but to my knowledge is very well respected. One thing I've never heard is that it's "a rag". Its pretty well respected to my view and knowledge. If others here differ on my view, I'd really like to know why. Perhaps there is something I am unaware of or changed. Second, no one external has yet verified this document. While I don't doubt that's true, it's a very dangerous piece if they don't have proof. Given my first point, I struggle to believe that's the case. Third, if true it's more evidence suggestive of dishonesty from Trump, and I think will continue to push the public and media push for information. If someone has the WSJ article I'd love to read it. I don't have a sub there anymore. Finally, I've posted Coffee/voidzilla links here before. This 10 minute video from yesterday is a nice add on to this information.
  3. I didn't know the details of the meme until last night. I kept seeing it around but I had no idea what the hell it was about. Some CEO did something? Ok whatever, I'm busy I'll see what it's all about later. 7 or 8 pages, a dozen memes, one quixotic white knight quest by imma (seriously? THIS PAIR is who you're choosing to defend) and I think I am caught up. All I can say is that I have a satisfactory level of schadenfreude this morning. This asshole, by all accounts, has left every company he's ever touched in worse shape than when he arrived. And imma thinks we ought to leave Brittany alone? FUCK THAT and FUCK HIM. I hope he is forever enconsced as the representative meme of "don't get your meat where you get your bread". I also hope he's so toxic that he never gets another chance to pillage a company into the dirt. I don't feel sorry for him having an epic moment of FAFO. He ought to be the representative slide on the HR presentation that we have to sit through on behavior at work. No, I don't think I will back off, nor do I feel any pity or shame or sympathy towards him in the slightest. Saddle up bucko. This one is just starting for you.
  4. Holy shit man thanks for the time and effort of explaining that. I haven't yet fully absorbed all of it but I'll sit down with one of my acoustics and tune it down to Drop D and follow along. Great work!
  5. You’ve been around since Hornfans, right? it’s RIGHT THERE IN HIS FUCKING SCREENNAME.
  6. The dude didn’t give a fuck about defense, so excuse me for not placing some coach who again never won shit and doesn’t even have a conference title on his resume. Perhaps if he was a better HC he could have at least won a conference title. The only reason yall like him as much as you do here is his philosophical shit and his anti Aggie rants
  7. First, you start with a roux!
  8. BOW has an interesting view on life, that's for sure. I'd love to see his resume, littered with nothing but success, to have such a high bar for others.
  9. Well, he hired Mike Leach, who attended BYU while Edwards was coaching there. Leach was recruited to play football, but an injury apparently kept him from playing. Allegedly he would sit in on film sessions as a student with the coaching staff. After graduating in 1983 he eventually got his law degree from Pepperdine in 1986, became an assistant football coach in 1987 at Cal Poly, then took a job as the head coach of a team in Finland. That's when Hal Mumme plucked him to be his assistant at Iowa Weslayan University. I'm sure through his connection to Lavell Edwards. Hal Mumme was doing things radically different. He was purposefully trying to break football. Specifically how the game approached offense, and he needed people on his staff who weren't afraid of that. Which Mike Leach fit to a T. They left for Valdosta State then paired up at Kentucky. When Bob Stoops took the job at OU he hired Mike Leach to run his offense without really knowing the guy. He just knew the offenses at Kentucky were the ones that gave him the most trouble as the defensive coordinator at Florida, so that's the guy he wanted to run his offense. Honestly, it was kind of similar to what Sarkisian did with Pete Kwiatkowski.
  10. Don't get your honey where you get your money. Just got the phone with my best buddy, he's firing his GM Monday for dopin' and an office affair. FAFO.
  11. Yes. Very similar incident.
