  2. This is the laziest argument and the easiest to counter. If Texas schedules Abilene Christian in week one instead of Ohio St, we are in the playoffs. It’s that simple. People are sorting the Win/Loss column and ranking teams accordingly. 9-3 is why we are not in the playoffs and who we lost to does not matter.
  3. I am cautiously optimistic. Possibly even slightly giddy. Looking forward to the next season

  5. Fixed it for accuracy.
  6. I do not know if you are supposed to take the rankings when a team played or when the season ends as the comparison point? The notable teams we beat were all top ten when we played them. OU beat Bama when they were top 10. The other ranked teams they beat, mizzou, michigan, tennessee, are not likely ranked anymore. OU's offense has regressed as the year has progressed. They look worse than Iowa on that side of the ball. Not to say that Iowa has not improved. Not sure who I would pick if OU played Iowa today?! OU should probably be ranked below Vandy looking at the whole team. Pretty sure Texas would beat OU by at least two scores were there a rematch. Either way, the only way Texas gets in is if the CFP corrects the horseshit of having Vandy and OU ranked above Texas. The chances are slim but certainly they can explain this if they do it.
  7. Texas is being penalized for losing 3 games, who they were to does not matter. Don’t lose 3 games
  8. Nice piano.
  9. How does a bastard, orphan, son of a whore and a Scotsman, dropped in the middle of a forgotten Spot in the Caribbean by Providence, impoverished in squalor Grow up to be a hero and a scholar?

  11. That looks good, looks real good.
  12. So if Texas scheduled Pud State instead of Ohio St, would the Horns be comfortably in at 10-2 and above OU, ND, Vandy? 2 of those 3 teams they beat with same records?
  13. at least OU had balls and scheduled a blue blood who won a national championship 2 years ago. they cant help Michigan was shit this year Its not Charleston Southern, Georgia State and Va Tech
  14. More of a Blue Barracudas man myself.
  15. The post about how both opinions on Texas are right fascinates me. The arguments for and against Texas are both valid, but I think what really annoys me about the whole situation is how the entire coaches poll and AP poll pretty much ignore strength of schedule and head to head results. Instead both just count up wins and losses. If something doesn’t change on that front somehow, the Texas problem is going to keep happening over and over. Of course, an expanded playoff will be the solution they implement, with 4 more slots. If they had that this year, it would pretty much resolve the issue. I was firmly anti-playoff expansion, but given what’s happened this year, I’m now for it. My previous logic was that 3 loss teams had missed their opportunity by losing too many games. But I failed to think about a scenario where a team played 4-5 top 10 games. Really, Miami and ND should have been behind Texas on this week’s poll due to their terrible schedules. I’m shocked at how low Texas stayed. Made no sense to me.
  16. What is this "may" shit? Americans voted overwhelmingly to deport his Mexican ass. Get the fuck out of here.
  17. They’re going to lose every game where they give up 130. Adams being out and the Jazz going full on Villanova- Georgetown didn’t help, but the team defense wasn’t there last night. I think they have to stick with Reed in the starting lineup during this might portion of their schedule. They don’t play another good team until December 20th.
  18. Most of this sounds like they'd refused to tell themselves they didn't have an away rivalry game in the SEC (LSU doesn't give a shit about them compared to Ole Miss or Bama) and can't face that that's why this crowd was so much more amped up against them than they're used to.
  19. Getting scammed 27 hours a day, 4 days a week.
  20. As a fan of watching good football, I care. The rules should encourage interesting games. If the current rules don't, they should be changed. Again, I would count every game against an FCS opponent as a loss. This year, that means every team in the playoffs hunt other than Texas and Notre Dame would have an extra loss.
