  3. Green dress is best I could do for ya…
  4. On the flip side, it’s advertising that there is an attractive middle-aged lady worth millions about to be on the market. /surly
  5. First band I went backstage for, since I knew the opening act. I was a HS junior. Let me just say my naive self was not prepared for what I saw. It was awesome (although a little rough around the edges).
  6. I think that will get you kicked out of DKR even if kickoff is 11 am
  7. Ha - if it were only that easy.
  8. He needs to know when to be like the Jesus that whipped the money changers out of the Temple
  9. This course is awesome but with no wind, no rain these guys are tearing it up. Lots of different club choice and strategy off the tee.
  10. Well that, and we broke Beck, so it made Georgia's decision to cut bait that much easier.
  11. I enjoyed it. Superman comics always had weird shit in it, and Gunn leaned into that. David Corenswet makes a great Superman, and he and Henry Cavill absolutely favor each other. I think it is too bad that Snyder went all dark and broody, because Cavill is actually a very charming guy who doesn't take himself too seriously. But back to Corenswet, I think he was the right fit. And not to CR this, but parts of this are very on the nose for today. DC is in good hands with Gunn.
  12. Did you just post your PhD dissertation?
  13. Maybe all this rallying around the cause will bring America back together in peace and harmony?
  14. I haven’t seen it but if he is letting falsehoods slide that is unacceptable. I have started politely but firmly saying no when my patients bring up lies at their visits. I don’t argue I just say things like that is objectively false. If you would like me to explain why I’m happy to. If not let’s move on to something else. Started doing it during Covid when patients would say it’s a hoax. I would say let’s over to the hospital and I’ll give you a tour. No takers
  15. Hell, I thought this was just an ageing thing: https://nypost.com/2025/07/18/health/summer-long-balls-awkward-phenomenon-could-impact-fertility/
  16. Not sure we want to consider folks like: Rourke Ohio>Indiana If it's too early to consider Mendoza Cal>Indiana I acknowledge that its non-contender schools to a mid school so they might not be in alignment with the nature of this thread. Per @MirrOlure above, on Beck, I really don't think Georgia was keen on keeping him. His numbers/issues with health, INTs and incomplete passes nearly mirrored Ewers. (Not hating) Had he returned there might have been a similar controversy Texas saw in the locker room or else where. I am of the position that Geogria told him to go shop.
  17. In this article from 2024, an LCRA spokesman claims that wind and evaporation is roughly equal to the consumption in the city of Austin. 1" every 5-6 days. That was when the lake was at around 42%, which would mean a surface area of around 10k acres. So, 10k acre-inches per 5 days -> 833 acre-feet per 5 days -> 5000 acre-feet per month or 60k acre-feet per year. This is around 1629 million gallons per month lost by evaporation and the same consumed by the city of Austin. This LCRA link shows that Austin uses 140k acre-feet, so perhaps the 1" number at 10k acres (from the original article) is inaccurate. This PDF Link (cut-paste below) shows that City of Austin pulls 60k acre-feet per year from the highland lakes (confirms the original link) and another 100k acre-feet are pulled from Lake Austin and other rivers. Cedar Park, Leander, and TC WCD are pulling about 37k acre-feet from the highland lakes. Thanks for asking, as I would not have gone down this temporary rabbit hole
  18. Leavitt has much much much better teeth.
