  2. wonder what the payout was for a $100 parlay with Phoenix, Dallas and Utah all winning last night
  3. Sure hope so. Sensational talent and production.
  4. Drugs is the cover to escalate regime change to get that sweet, sweet Venezuelan oil
  5. I think Bishop has the potential to have that kind of impact next season. Last playoff game
  6. Texas is not being penalized for losing to Ohio State or Georgia. They are being penalized for losing the fucking Florida. The team that beat Texas and kept Texas out of the CFP is Texas.
  7. I heard he's a shell of his former self.
  8. So ... no World Cup?
  9. You need to watch the whole video. When cops finally show up they are focused on the cop. About 5 minutes later they realize there are people trapped in the car that got hit.
  10. Today
  11. This should be the argument. It's the data behind what many of us have been saying, not just about relative SEC schedule disparity between Texas and A&M/Ole Miss, but overall. FEI has a measure that takes a team two-standard deviations better than average, a stand in for an elite team. In years past you might call this the top 10, but for these purposes let's say its teams in consideration for a 12-team playoff. Which is what we are talking about, so it's the right measure. So based on your schedule here is how many expected losses an elite team would have based on the most recent Week 14 FEI ratings: ELS elite strength of schedule Wisconsin 3.8 expected losses Purdue 3.4 UCLA 3.12 ##Texas 2.8 Penn State 2.74 Florida 2.69 Auburn 2.61 Rutgers 2.53 Arkansas 2.52 South Carolina 2.52 ##Alabama 2.38 LSU 2.38 Kentucky 2.35 Illinois 2.35 Iowa 2.33 USC 2.23 Missouri 2.22 Mississippi State 2.18 ##Oklahoma 2.18 Tennessee 2.08 ##Oregon 2.04 Michigan State 2.02 Washington 2.01 Minnesota 1.95 Michigan 1.94 ## Other Playoff contenders rankings: 32. Texas A&M 1.72 33. Georgia 1.68 34. Vanderbilt 1.65 38. BYU 1.56 42. Notre Dame 1.49 43. Indiana 1.48 47. Miami 1.35 50. Ole Miss 1.31 51. Utah 1.27 53. Ohio State 1.23 57. Texas Tech 1.15 87. Duke .44 105. Virginia .34 G5 contenders 85. Tulane .47 112. North Texas .25 116. James Madison. 21 Texas is the only team in the top 10 that wasn't completely derailed by their crazy tough draw this year. Alabama and Oklahoma for that matter, are the only other playoff contenders in the top 20, and even with that Texas' schedule was almost two-thirds of a whole loss more difficult than OU's. Oregon is the only other team that ranks in the top 25. Texas played a schedule OVER ONE LOSS more difficult than every other playoff contender team. And had more than double the expected losses of 7 of the G4 teams alive for a spot (Miami, Ole Miss, Utah, Ohio State, Texas Tech, Duke and Virginia).
  12. More to the point, since she's a lesbian, she's actually less attainable than Sydney Sweeney. Also: whatevs, you can't kink shame me

  14. OU beat 5 ranked teams: 3 of them came in the last 4 games; 2 of those were on the road; 1 of them was Alabama. Their 1 squeaker was against LSU. ** TX beat 4 ranked teams: 2 in the recent half of the season; 1 was on the road. 2 squeaker wins against opponents worse than LSU. ** I think we're a better team than OU and would be on the favored side of a coin-flip, but you can see how their body of work can be vouched for. If hypothetical H-2-H performances is the determinant of playoff contender, we shouldn't even entertain Tulane, UNT, UVA in the group but so far nobody's strongly opposed to their inclusion?
  15. And this is bullshit as well. most of us on here have said Texas has made its argument. Most of us have said that we are glad Texas beat A&M. I don't hear aggy saying any of that. Personally, I just get a kick out of the discussion in general when a good percentage of the fans on here disagree with the alleged resume, with another faction insisting By Gawd, Texas deserves it! Then when they say Tech sucks, welp, Tech did what it needed to to get by, while Texas TALKED about choosing a better path. Yeah, that part is a great aspect of sport. Little Daniel-son got off the mat.
  16. Bradley is going to be in front of Congress next week, so get some popcorn between now and then.
  17. And Texas chose their path. Y'all gloat about it constantly. Remember 'We stole your corch' in hoops? Remember 'Big XII is dead?' I do. Y'all do too. The SEC deliberately games the system and the collusive media falsely raises the floor of the conference so everyone can say they beat more 'top 25 ranked teams.' It's self perpetuating. Then the top teams aren't scheduled against each other. Own it and STFU...but you can't. We're Texas...and we still fucked up.
  18. And now we see why that other Admiral that was previously in charge of this shit show resigned. He knew what was coming down the pike and said, yeah, I'm not committing war crimes for you just so you can lay it all at my feet later. Obviously Bradley was too fucking stupid to take a hint.
  19. We've taken some G5 kids under Sark, Trey Moore came from UTSA. We took players from Wyoming and San Jose State (Neyor and Jayvion Cole), although neither of them worked out. Took a LB from James Madison early in Sark's tenure, and our current backup QB came from Troy and our current kicker from Texas State.
  20. The committee can easily fix this by ranking Texas above OU, due to our recent performance against the previously ranked # 3 team and OU's dogshit performance against an unranked LSU. The nail in the coffin should be our pasting of OU. That is how they can save face. OU also has some issue with the wr room.
  21. I suspect part of the problem is he is a high profile, high earning father who has an ex wife who programmed the kids cell phone to speed dial CPS. It takes two crappy parents to ruin a kid.
  22. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States–Taliban_deal Negotiated for the U.S. by Zalmay Khalilzad for the first Trump administration, the negotiations for the agreement did not involve the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Afghan government at the time.[4] The deal, which also had secret annexes, was one of the critical events that caused the collapse of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF). Insurgent attacks against the Afghan security forces surged in the aftermath of the deal, however, with thousands killed. Regardless, withdrawals per the agreement continued. By January 2021, just 2,500 U.S. troops remained in the country, and NATO forces fully evacuated by the end of that summer. The U.S. completed its full evacuation on August 30, 2021, as the Taliban took control of the country by force. Trump, the ultimate deal master, gave the Taliban everything while not involving any of the Afghan folks who weren't Taliban that we'd been working with for years. The Taliban then, of course, waltz in, killed a bunch of people, and took over everything. However, in the aftermath of the agreement, the U.S. stopped supporting the Afghan military in its offensive operations, forcing it to take mostly defensive positions around the country. According to the agreement, U.S. military aircraft could not attack Taliban groups waiting more than 500 meters away, giving the Taliban an edge in targeting Afghan military units.[citation needed] The agreement also exacerbated the decline in morale of the Afghan army and police, making them more open to accepting bargains with the Taliban. Due to a lack of information and secret annexes in the agreement, that had not been shared even with the then Afghan government, the Taliban were able to spread propaganda and disinformation about the agreement, including convincing local police and military units that the U.S. had handed over territories to the Taliban and that they should abandon their positions.[51] In the 45 days after the agreement (between March 1 and April 15, 2020), the Taliban conducted more than 4,500 attacks in Afghanistan, an increase of more than 70% compared to the same period in the previous year. So basically, Trump completely abandoned our allies in Afghanistan like this shooter. He allowed the Taliban to go hog wild and kept American forces from fighting back. He pulled the large majority of our forces out which essentially handed the entire country over to the Taliban. The Taliban kills swathes of Afghan military forces and people from the government while we sit and twiddle our fingers. Those guys, predictably, then say fuck this shit and bail or start switching sides. Then Biden got stuck with the mess. By the time Biden took office there were hardly any American troops left, the Afghan forces were in complete disarray, and the damage had already been done. At that point there was nothing to do except pull the few remaining troops out and leave all the equipment Trump didn't bother to tell the Pentagon to remove beforehand. So the Taliban got to keep a bunch of the equipment we abandoned. Which is where you get videos like this: Art of the Deal, baby! We get nothing and our enemies get everything! Oh, and the poor, stupid idiots that thought we were actually going to have their backs and who believed our bullshit got ruthlessly murdered. Ah well, thems the breaks!
  23. No other leagues are permitted. At the end of the regular season, the SEC starts a 16-team tournament to determine the national champion. Other teams and other leagues play in lesser bowls for consolation prizes.
  24. If they want money for each win, they send: 1. GA 2. Ole Miss 3. Aggie 4. Texas 5. Bama 6. OU 7. Vandy If you go by best chance of winning it putting aside the tie breakers like head to head matchups, etc. I'll even accept Bama at 4 and Texas at 5. IMHO.
