Yep, I would say Scottie played "fine" today. His par-saves on 11 and 14 were his most impressive holes. -

Watching this again, I think a lot of Scottie's philosophy here is his way of managing pressure as the best player in the world. He's obviously supremely confident in his physical ability, the biggest hurdle is staying in a great head space. Bogey free round today as the clear favorite. So impressive. -

Has anyone considered the possibility that Alvarez issue is not sports or orthopedic ? Maybe medical , maybe psoriatic arthritis or RA (he’s had a lot of joint issues) I would assume the medical staff has had him see a rheumatologist ? Maybe he needs to get some Humira from Phil Michelson , or maybe they did but his grandmother has a home remedy he’s been trying.

A 60-foot sportfishing boat bumped into the USS Midway Friday afternoon, and the captain was later arrested on suspicion of boating while under the influence, a Harbor Police official said. The incident happened about 12:45 p.m., Sgt. Armando Ramirez said. He said the collision caught the attention of several people near the Unconditional Surrender statue, an homage to the iconic photo of a sailor kissing a nurse to celebrate the end of World War II. It sits near the aircraft carrier, which is now a museum “We got calls from witnesses,” Ramirez said. “It made a lot of noise when it collided.” He said the aircraft carrier museum did not appear to sustain significant damage. The fishing boat left the scene, the sergeant said. Harbor police intercepted it near the San Diego-Coronado Bridge. No one on the boat was injured. He said the boat sustained minor damage but it had not been taking on water. The collision attracted more attention soon after it happened, following an X post from WarshipCam, which posted video that shows the boat approaching the carrier.

Maybe, maybe not. He sued everything associated with Murdoch. Like, what is the purpose of suing Dow Jones? Or Fox News? One thing that Trump may have overlooked is Murdoch deciding to unleash Fox News on Trump. It's one thing for Trump and Company to tell the rubes how the mean media is picking on him again. It would be something completely different if the Fox opinion shows started treating Trump differently. -

2021 - Is inflation finally back in the conversation?
Fiscal dominance replied to Reagan1k's topic in Business and Markets
Agree with all points. We can do better here. This is where I stand. Powell isn't going anywhere. Trump is basically trying to cyberbully him into resigning. It isn't going to work. The Fed has always been a political body. They have weekly meetings with Treasury officials. There have been disagreements before between politicians and the Fed. This is just a unique President that enjoys having his fights be public and messy. They shouldn't lower rates. Inflation is above the goal of 2%. Markets are at all time highs. Tariffs introduce some uncertainty as well. I think on balance inflation trends higher over time mostly due to government spending. Hard to tell exactly where it goes short to medium term. Maybe slightly up due to tariffs. I think immigration/deportation crackdown nets out to not much effect. Nothing stops this train. There was more than political lip service given to cutting costs and the deficit at the beginning of the year with Doge etc. But when push came to shove, the latest spending bill kept the party going. The debt will keep growing in an accelerated fashion. Whenever the next crisis happens and more excessive printing happens it will be interesting. The ways to protect yourself are obvious. -

Yep. This stuff was leaked because they wanted to out him due to all the collusion and hiding info from the players union. Him and Tretter are pieces of shit that deserve to go.

Murdoch is going to reach some inconsequential settlement to help "clear Trump's name." Bank on it. The WSJ is just a play toy to him.
