  1. Past hour
  2. This is the actual answer and solves everything.
  3. The example isn’t exactly on point as others have pointed out but we live in a media driven narrative society and that is all that matters. The vibes need to be “oh shit if we leave Texas out there will be real world consequences”. I still think we are going to get left out if the bureaucrats are left to make the decision. They have no vested interest in the quality of the product just not to lose their job. It’s going to have to come from external forces like the Networks saying who gets in. I just do not see that happening. Our admin has to have the balls for the nuclear option and cancel Ohio St. And I just do not see CDC with that kind of courage. We will bitch and complain and do absolutely nothing about it.
  4. I know of a state building near the tailgate you can shower at, and I think roflbix has a camper you can crash in.
  5. Notre Dame's best wins are losses to aggy and canes. Leave them out.
  6. Vandy baseball is likely going to come back to the pack a lot. They were playing lose with the academic financial aid given to baseball players when they started their upward trajectory. Now that NIL exists, their "advantages" have been taken away.
  7. fify
  8. At the moment, the B1G isn't losing a playoff team due to ND's inclusion. The ACC's linkage to ND is causing one of their bubble teams (Miami) to probably be left out.
  9. Statistically pajamas have the most dried up piss, poop, and cum- so yea it’s gross.
  10. Anchor down, bitches! (went to grad school at Vanderbilt)
  11. Yes. They will try to spin it as having to choose between the Big 12 Champion vs ACC Champion with no QB in a 4 team playoff. the thing is “three losses” ain’t gonna trend. That is like making “fetch” happen 😂 sure the committee opened up a can of worms leaving FAU out but they can always point to it was 4 teams. And also point to how FSU got smoked in their big bowl game. Whether it was fair or not. That’s what the committee can fall back on. they ain’t making 3 losses happen. That opens the floodgates. Nope. Steve gonna have to coach above 3 losses or not make it in. And he should know this already.
  12. It's not entirely incorrect is it?
  13. well here's my trip report as promised, for everybody who doesn't go there 😊 we were there over a week, first time, and found it fabulous 🌴🇵🇷 there were six of us, coming from different locs and met up there. stayed most of the time in a great AirBnB in Punta Santiago right next to a nature preserve with tons of trails, we could walk all around the area including a spectacular beach. several hidden bunkers from WWII, now home to local art 😄 Lobo! (RIP) we visited El Yunque NP, Vieques conservation area, Hucares, Palmas Del Mar (found the rich PRs 😄), Loquillo, Fajardo/Las Croabas (found the best beach there!), and finished our time with a couple days in Old San Juan. we cooked a lot, but the food we ate out was pretty damn good. i had never had PR food...surprisingly meat heavy for a caribbean island! 🤨 but very tasty...one of the best things we ate was some guys with a giant pit on the side of the road 😄 melt in your mouth pork and chicharrones...holy shit was it good 🤤 rained several times every day, short bursts then done. it was hot but not unbearably so, the evenings were super breezy and pleasant, and sitting in shade was actually nice and cool. that was actually one of the best features - all the natural shade on the beaches! no need for umbrellas or cover, the vegetation is super dense. most of the tourist areas seemed full of...Puerto Ricans? or at least some variety of Latin folk...even in OSJ, the gringos were way outnumbered. it was kind of nice 😄 eating out prices varied depending on the spot, but no place we went seemed exorbitant. groceries and gas were generally much less expensive than expected for a caribbean island. damage from Maria is still very apparent on much of the island outside San Juan. lots and lots of still empty structures everywhere, some being worked on but many just waiting for buyers i guess. i was kind of fascinated by the architecture/buildings...generally squat cement structures that were obviously built well bc they are still standing...but completely hollow as the insides have been blown/flooded out. seemed like you just add new windows, doors, and wiring... until the next time it all gets blown out i guess 🌀🌊 all in all it was pretty awesome, we would definitely go back. we only had two days at the end in OSJ...i think when we return we'd spend several more days there...very much a NOLA vibe and lots of history. also think we'd do a couple nights in Condado, enjoy some high rise beach resort time. i'd go back for more hiking in El Yunque as well...spectacular! El Yunque Vieques Hucares surly special beach pup shot 😉 Seven Seas beach in Las Croabas Old San Juan
  14. Still not worth dealing with Bonnie Thompson's bullshit.
  15. It's funny/weird that Mayor Pete has the easiest last name to make fun of and Trump just pronounces it exactly the way Pete's campaign marketed it.
  16. This is 10000% true - both Mariachi performances were total energy drains. I like the Mariachi's in the 4th quarter of the Sam Houston St. type games, but it is way out of place in any kind of intense game atmosphere. I understand and embrace the entertainment aspect of the stadium experience. I know it isn't for me and, for the most part, I neither enjoy it nor am particularly bothered by it. I also go to most away games. Other than the OU and Michigan experiences, every place does it more or less the same. There does seem to be a bit of competition, wanting to be the one with the newest or latest gadget. DKR seems (mostly) ahead of the curve on that with the drones and lights and such - though UGA had this coordinated wrist light things that produced a pretty remarkable light effect during timeouts. I realize this is probably too much to expect, but I wish there was more flexibility/adaptability. I understand there is probably a script that is produced ahead of time that they follow, but it would be great if there was more of an ability to read the room, so to speak, and make snap decisions on what will best work. The mariachis went over like a lead balloon early in the game - I know it would suck for them to get cut later, but rolling them out again later was a disservice to the team/stadium. Knowing when to stay out of the way, or when to do a crowd favorite. Is 4th down coming up? Did they just give up a long TD and need some pumping up? Is momentum building to a crescendo? There needs to be more adaptability.
  17. Blowu hasn't been in the red zone against Texas since 2023.
  18. Seems like the committee should be looking at other sources of data beyond the AP poll. ESPN College Football Power Index and Sagrin have some interesting rankings.
  19. I get it but I don't want Texas cancelling the return Michigan or Ohio State games. First off, it looks bad. Second, we're owed those games for going there. But I would 100% start cancelling any that are further down the line. Replace them with easily-winnable games. The statements kind of contradict each other. Yeah, you won enough to keep Venables around a little longer. You know the coach who hasn't been able to score a TD in Dallas in three of the last four meetings?
  20. "It was a bad time for the empire... The Shogun just stayed inside his castle and he never came out. People said his brain was infected by devils”
  21. For real. This isn’t the wives that are financially responsible thread. As if there could be such a thing.
  22. My prediction: 1. Ohio State (12-0) 2. Indiana (12-0) 3. Georgia (11-1) 4. Texas Tech (11-1) 5. Oregon (11-1) 6. Ole Miss (11-1) 7. Texas A&M (11-1) 8. Notre Dame (10-2) 9. Texas (9-3) 10. Oklahoma (10-2) 11. Alabama (10-2) 12. BYU (11-1) 13. Vanderbilt (10-2) 14. Miami (10-2) 15. Utah (10-2) OR I could see: 6. Ole Miss (11-1) 7. Texas A&M (11-1) 8. Oklahoma (10-2) 9. Alabama (10-2) 10. BYU (11-1) 11. Texas (9-3) 12. Miami (10-2) 13. Notre Dame (10-2) 14. Vanderbilt (10-2) 15. Utah (10-2)
  23. Have you watched any MSU football these past two years? It's an upgrade, and I feel sorry for Jonathan Smith.
  24. Impressive since it appears this is a side hustle to his main career of being a pimp, I mean, manager of an escort agency.
