back in the 80s before the transpecos got trendy the evans' served up a mean cfs, mashed, corn, green beans and toast, w/ BOTH brown and cream gravy, for NINE DOLLARS the original dining room was on the southeast corner and it was spartan, nothing like what it is now

I dunno. It might been before that. Part of me wants to say he was just at OU a year, and stoops first year was 1999. -

I didn’t think he was even on the national champs. That he installed and jetted, but that’s can’t be right now that I think about it. Someone left after a year- right? -

I’m pretty sure Leach was only there 2 years and bounced after they beat Florida State in the 2001 Orange Bowl. -
If you are from the future. It’s 1-6 since the dodgers series right now, but likely to be 1-7 in about 10 hours.

The Offer, story on how the Godfather went from book to movie. Its fucking great. Maybe I'm in the few here, but I feel that I do more scrolling than watching, but this has me.

We did Quandary Peak last summer. We used the shuttle from Breckenridge that drops you off at the trailhead. It was mid-week and parking at the trailhead didn't seem to be an issue. No idea on a weekend. It was a fun hike. We took our time, and I think we did the round trip in about 6 hours. Got up close and personal with a few mountain goats along the way.

What a monster stage. Jonas looks great. Gritty performances all around. Shame for Remco. Tadej looked to be riding defensively - bring on Ventoux and the Alps. Is the dude with the antler helmet the same Jackass from a decade ago? Seem to remember him particularly at the Tour of California. Waiting for him to trip and spear a rider or a spectator. Would be happy to see the gendarmes take him to the turf…

My biggest difficulty was that I don’t know when leach was named coach at tech. The difference in coaches between 2000 and 2002 or 2003 makes a difference. -

Nice roll. -
Yeah. I’d love to know the actual OSU take on that one how hard (if?) they tried for retention. My sense was they were just loading up talent and figuring they’d have an open tryout and everyone who didn’t win could fuck right off and once Quinn reclassified and they liked their guy they didn’t care all that much about Quinn, but that’s me making assumptions and surmising not anything I know.

Yeah, @Goredho pretty much nails it on drop D. Besides the general heaviness, it lets you play chunky chords in riffs that you otherwise couldn't This is an old demo from 30 years ago when we were doing a bunch of drop D stuff for that reason.

I put in 40 ft of metal edging hoping it will divert water flowing across the surface from a heavy rain. The hole had about the same water as the last time. Makes me wonder if that's the wet weather ground water level. Hmm. Some friends:

Pretty sure Les Miles was still in Stillwater, Dan McCarney was in a corn maze, and RC was still in the pasture, but otherwise looks pretty good…and Steele for Baylor. Can’t remember who was at Kansas before Mangino because Glen Mason was already gone by then…right?
