Game Week Thread 2025 Week 12: Texas @ Georgia

i liked it better when the opposing fans would come on here and talk shit and try to harass us. its too quiet on their side. this is what complacency sounds like. -
This fucking made me hungrier than the steak restaurant I posted before. This is the typical meal at any of the ranches I hunt down near Roma after the morning hunt is over. Damn I need to get back down there and see my cousins.

Mikey did not have a good season at all. The hamstring (there was some treatment and a needle and a stuck nerve) held him out for all but a couple games. The season was a complete clusterfuck, and the St. Louis results reflect that. He asked them not to pick up his option so he is now a free agent. It was tough to see him go from MLS Next Top-11, to barely getting any time. He had an issue with the one coach but, he had the support of Roman Burke (the goalie). Now Mikey’s agent has to get him a good landing spot. I’d love for him to get somewhere in the Eastern Conference in the MLS because it would be very easy for me to get to games but, I also would like him to get back to the Bundesliga. He’s had a couple good seasons in that he played for the USA in the Pan Am games in Chile, played very well in the MLS when he got in and thankfully he is now healthy. St. Louis team results have gone down each of the past two seasons after their successful debut.

I see that more as hope than reality, unless he wants to start at a G5 school (nothing wrong with that, but it takes a special coach to win there). I think Klein will be at aggy for another 2-3 years before he finds a landing spot, assuming he wants to be a HC (not all coordinators want that responsibility. See PK). I hope he's gone next year, but I see it as unlikely since Reed will be back, but I can also see him bail since his cowbell RB Moss will be gone, Owens sucks bacteria leaking from a swollen prostate, and I don't know who else they have. Concepcion is gone, but Craver will be back, and I assume Jerome Myles will be healthy (I don't know if he'll be good, much like Owens was a five-star and sucks), and Kiotti Armstrong, who has great hands, and Kelshaun Johnson will have a more expanded role. They have Brandon Arrington (five-star ATH) coming in Jan, but I'm not sure if they'll play him at WR or CB (kind of like Jermaine Bishop for us, but I think they said he'll play DB?), and Aaron Gregory. KJ Edwards will be there, but I don't personally see him making an impact in year one. I can see their other RB, Hatton being really good. They lose good players, but also have some good ones coming in, albeit young.

Gavazzeni claimed about 100 "very wealthy people" had "paid to be able to kill defenseless civilians" in Sarajevo while positioned in hilly locations controlled by Serbs. The alleged sniper tourists paid varying sums to shoot and kill men, women and children while the city was being shelled by mortars and artillery and subjected to sniper fire.

News AVP schedule just released. Looks like we're getting a tourney in Austin in April ... I think? Who knows. We're getting a 3-day 'AVP Heritage Contender', whatever that is. They don't explain things very well here ... https://avp.com/news/2026-avp-schedule-released/?utm_source=Membership+Database%2FPortal&utm_campaign=b7b2e58a64-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2024_09_09_10_18_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_-d55214f63c-666612354&mc_cid=b7b2e58a64&mc_eid=c8692b4ae9 Mother Lode on the calendar for the first time that I know of.

I did a FUBO trail for the Vandy game then cancelled within the 5 day trail. I received an email today from FUBO offering $70 off for the first full month with the pro package with sports package. Total was about 109, but minus the 70 bucks and no obligation after the first month. I am waiting until tomorrow, but I am going with that option for a month so the YTTV shit to get worked out.

Anyone done a Tesla solar roof system with batteries to go off grid? Say 2500 sq ft with propane and a generator as backup? For a client. Asking more along the lines of performance of the system and service. Any recommendations in Austin? I have done Tesla batteries including a fire safe storage room etc; and the chargers work great, often better than GM to date. GM can tend to overdraw and trip breakers if not set up correctly. *excludes my opinions of the ceo asshole. -

Is there a book version of that story? Is it available used? -
I honestly don't really understand her point. Like if someone said "Losing 42-3 in football isn't really a blowout. 77-0 is a blowout." Well, they both are. I guess one is technically worse than the other, but aiming to pick up 13-15 year-olds as a strategy is most definitely pedophilia.

Boardwalk is one of the few HBO shows I never watched at all. Worth it?

Oh, I mean....yeah, that goes without saying. Evil bitches can still be hot. Hell, sometimes the "evil" part adds a point.

Sorry to shit on this half price book thread, but a new elon movie is coming out soon. Elon Musk Unveiled. Trailer and link to story before. Anything that shits on this dude is a okay in my book. https://variety.com/2025/film/global/elon-musk-unveiled-documentary-trailer-whistleblowers-1236574785/ -
I don't know if it's my favorite, but the first couple seasons of Boardwalk Empire were good enough to merit a mention here.

I was told we could "build a wall" to keep bad people out. Wall-off shit states. Gonna take a lotta bricks, though. -
just have some press conferences and get a friendly journo to ask if any of his recent behavior warrants impeachment, and have reps/senators all say, "man, i hope not, we want to keep him right where he is". a "please don't impeach him, we want him to stay" messaging campaign by dems would make him short circuit.
