  3. Hot damn I love me some 675. 84, clouds, and cool breezes at my house right now. At noon, on 7/20. Should probably cross-post this on the kickass things in Austin thread.
  4. yeah, that's a hell of a mount rushmore. him and trevino are close
  5. Hell, everybody knows pedantry is the sausage in Surly's klobasnek. Especially in the offseason, it's a primary filling. There's only so many recruiting announcements, media days and arrests to keep everybody fed.
  6. Yeah, lack of equipment on both sides, but even if UKR could put new brigades together with external help, fielding them in a time of fiber optic drones would be suicidal.
  7. Sarcasm may be a poor substitute for wit, but it’s all I have.
  8. This. The covid deniers are going to beat this drum until they die. Well, the ones who didn’t die the first time around.
  9. also i've wanted a spider putter for some time just need to pull the trigger

    Getting old sucks

Here’s how I understand it. Magnesium does not exist alone it’s coupled with another molecule or compound until it reaches your digestion. Then it is decoupled and absorbed as a free ion ready to be used as needed - in over 300 reactions and processes in your body. From mood to muscle contraction, sleep to heart function and the list goes on and on. So when you take a magnesium L-theronate (for cognitive function and anxiety induced sleep depro) the two decouple in your gut and are absorbed but they very well may meet again as and when your brain needs magnesium (l-theronate is the molecule needed to cross the blood brain barrier). The other compounds serve similar purposes with a target at some related group of bodily and cellular functions. When you eat nuts, seeds, greens, etc and you consume magnesium, it is also bound to other compounds that may or may not be needed. The supplement route is simply a way to provide magnesium and connect it to the likely compound or molecule you need for a targeted function. tl;dr - there are like 8-10 magnesium supplements because over 300 cellular and bodily functions depend on magnesium and magnesium is a catalyst and never acts alone it’s always bound to something else (lots of something elses) depending on the function it is supporting.
  11. All your recruits are belong to us
  12. He has a ways to go to be the best ever golfer from the state of Texas. Ben Hogan won 9 majors, including the career grand slam. Lee Trevino won 6. Bryon had 5.
  13. ever since i started playing the same irons as scheff, he's been on fire just saying
  14. Let’s flip it. If tom cruises films consistently loses money for the last 25 years, he wouldn’t have any leverage to ask for more money. Of course his movies actually make money. this league is only relevant because of Caitlin Clark and even with her it is still losing money. You brought up the warriors, you’re not the golden state warriors. People actually want to watch them more power to the ladies. I hope they do get a raise but the business case makes no sense at all. Been losing money for 20+ years.
  15. I think the difference in total revenue, and more accurately the revenue/expense ratio, is what drives the lower comp%. One would think that expenses will be more static so as revenue increases, a larger share should be available for salary. unless things like travel and arena rental are somehow subsidized or offered at a discounted rate, which will go away as revenue can cover it.
  16. Cooper splitting time at linebacker should not be overlooked. He may make one hell of a jump. He's a tough motherfucker and I love having tough motherfucker's tote the ball.
  17. I'll give this administration one thing. They deflect like no others in the history of mankind.
  18. That's an incredibly shitty, and not true, analogy. A more accurate analogy would be a C-list actor on a low budget TV show asking for a raise after the show he's on gets syndicated and the revenues go up 400% overnight. WNBA players get anywhere between 9% and 20% of league revenue (depending on source). NBA players get 50% (as do MLB, NFL players get 48%). It is my understanding that WNBA players are asking for the similar % of revenue as these other leagues. Obviously their salaries will be much lower - but they wound be earning the same % as their NBA counterparts.
  19. Very fair. I still stand behind my assessment of the curiousness of the search to solve this position. It's been weird but hopefully Blue and Mafah can make a big difference. And here we go..... TC has begun.
  20. No idea. Had never heard of the guy and your question made me curious, but it's hard to find much info, especially as the Butler County football roster appears to have been taken down from the school web site. He is from Powder Springs, GA, which is about 20 miles from Atlanta and which apparently was founded on land owned by a couple of Cherokee leaders, around the time of the Trail of Tears. Powder Springs also produced NFLers Kenyan Drake, Evan Engram and Chuma Edoga (not to mention Mark Day, guitarist for the Christian rock band Third Day ... never heard of him/them, either). All of those names are from Wikipedia, and that's about as far as I want to research.
  21. This would be an exciting finish if Scottie was not a golf cyborg.
