  1. Past hour
  2. Turn a profit without putting your hands in the NBA's cookie jar just to stay afloat, then we'll talk.
  3. I’d like Talarico a lot more if he ran for something like AG that might be more attainable.
  4. It's getting almost hard to fathom how spectacularly this team has fallen apart in the span of 2 weeks. We're basically down to 2.5/5 of a competitive starting rotation (Framber, Brown, and Walter gets partial credit) and 4/9 of the lineup we expected to see this year. Jesus Christ, due up next inning is Dubon, Matthews, Short. Is this early on in Spring Training before roster cuts start? It seems pretty clear that a team can ride things out for a while held together by Elmer's and popsicle sticks, but you finally reach a point where any further instability causes the whole thing to come tumbling down. It's difficult to really zero in on which aspect sucks the most right now, but the abysmal job we've been doing with RISP has got to take the cake. It's getting so fucking old how many games we have a double digit combo of hits and walks and end up with 2 runs or less. So many fucking innings with 2 on, 1 out and we end up with jack shit. When's the last time we hit a bases clearing double?
  5. More progress. Added a new 16x12 section of concrete to build a pergola/pavilion similar to this.
  6. Beef tallow and sugar is healthy.
  7. happens to the best of us. I went to a wolves game right around 1994 when I was 9. Kept telling my dad Isiah "JR" Rider on our team was an olympian but it was actually Isiah Thomas
  8. Spikes Car Radio has me into Sheffield watches right now. Picked up an A1 Driver a month ago for summer pool time. Now I’m leaning towards picking up the new Rally. Just not sure it will take much wrist time away from my El Primero which is my daily. They’re going to do some releases later in the year with a Swiss movement. Anyone else like this brand? The affordability makes them dangerous.
  9. Love the Texas Twinkie there. Also that turkey looks really moist. I appreciate the simplicity of the beans with just a chunk of brisket
  10. 38K at Coors Field for Twins/sunset last night and 42K tonight.
  11. Barely caught the end of that last fight Ige vs Pitbull. Seemed competitive, then Ige lucked into that awkard leg lock/leg lock where he found his reach for pounding longer, and then was eventually able to hold a top position with it. Hard to describe, but I guess it wasn't enough. I'm afraid Holloway's chin is not going to hold up. Holloway vs Rodriguez - these mf'rs love to scrap!
  12. Julio belli shota and Soriano are on the block.
  13. Love the hair product quip.
  14. went to the richardson store today for superman first visit to alamo since the rona sony has destroyed the experience gone are the office chairs and long "desk table" sony has doubled the number of seats in every theater the chairs and "tray tables" only work if you are 6'9" with the wingspan of manute bol and with the change in architecture and configurationi, the full upper torso of a waiter walked in front of me 47 times during the film and why? this isn't an aa321 torture tube with a 99% load factor...... they have destroyed the experience to sell an extra 100 tickets on friday and saturday nights - they now offer no advantage over advance seating at cinemark that's 10 miles closer the menu has been gutted - i looked in the kitchen - 4pm on a saturday - ghost town the pre-show on the superman universe was extremely cool - but when that was over what happened? did the movie start at it's published show time? no - we got NINE previews that took 22 minutes cost for a water, a dr. pepper and a truffle popcorn: $26 including the mandatory 18% gratuity the tickets were $28 all-in $54 for a saturday afternoon first-run movie superman is a "big screen" movie but the enshittification of this absurd timeline just sucks to holy hell and a final note on the founders - they caught the dykwia disease of successful small business owners - they were the smartest in the room and therefore they could declare reality to be what they choose to declare it to be - the result was an operations and finance nightmare that was never replicated in any new store expansion the same way twice - they were creative people who had no clue how to run a business past the first 3 or 4 stores and they developed a cult of personality that ensured they were never challenged - and they continued to run ancient technology and refused to spend on new wiring and plumbing despite being told repeatedly that failing to do so would have consequences - then the new ceo after the buyout fired the entire IT staff and within 2 days cashflow stopped and about half were immediately hired back - but how could that decision have been taken in the first place? - when they are running on rubber bands and paperclips from the 90s?
  15. Miracles never cease, Walker with a productive AB
  16. Man that DP was so brutal
  17. It's ok @BurntOrange&White, I think every person I know is mad at me for some reason. Now me losing 10 or more minutes just staring at your avatar is another issue. I'm not using food utensils when I to @Hagbard Celine place. I know I can drink the creamed corn and other things so that helps.
  18. Why do you watch?
  19. username suggests you liked the left boob better anyway.
  20. Don't ever let anyone try to tell you that Jesse's Girl is not one of the greatest pieces of music ever created.
  21. That’s my take from seeing it.
  22. oh my god he’s such an authentic sweetheart it’s so funny and endearing. they still treat him like one of the bros, but with kid gloves, because he really is just a very sweet and somewhat innocent guy. pretty much every appearance they made had me dying laughing. good example of gerby being gerby:
  23. What stops a massive billboard campaign with those Trump-Epstein bff photos in every major red state city in America? Make people look at it every day.
