Sorry, your SAT scores are too low for A&M Commerce. You should consider spending a few semesters at A&M College Station and trying to transfer in.18 points

He doesn't lie because there is something specific to gain. He lies because he is a compulsive liar. He simply says whatever he feels like saying in the moment without any regard for whether it is true or false.11 points

I love this particular piece of made up bullshit. The middle class IS being crushed economically...but you got any data for WHY that is? Check it out. You’re not going to find data that shows that their relative tax burden has skyrocketed over the last 40 years. It hasn’t. Things that ARE crushing them? 1) skyrocketing healthcare costs (and you don’t get to blame libs for that - this was true for decades before the ACA); 2) skyrocketing higher ed costs (deregulated public tuition, joined with plummeting state funding, capped with easy student loans); and of course, 3) relatively stagnant earnings in adjusted dollars. High taxes are effectively the least of the concerns for the middle class. Not seeing their wages go up, while big-ticket expenses go up, is killing them. If the middle class saw their wages increase at even HALF the rate of the top 5%, we’d be so much better off. Just for starters. But you know, it’s so much easier blaming brown people who wash dishes for all of our problems.10 points

The polls on impeachment are weak because Dems are weak on impeachment. Their job is to create and press the narrative, not throw up their hands because it isn't materializing out of thin air. And unlike a dozen narratives successful manufactured by Republicans to thwart Obama at every turn, and then defeat Hillary, this one has the advantage of being both true and worthy of prosecution. This is why Dems almost always fail, even when they win elections. This is why Dems lost everything because of Obamacare, when less than a decade later it was popular enough to sweep Rs out of the house. This is why Biden is the front-runner even though he represents a huge chunk of the problems that lead to the rise of Trumpism, and Warren is facing internal headwinds because of a "scandal" that wouldn't make the top 100 problems Trump overcame. Dems are cowards.10 points

Reverse sear on this strip last night. I like the grill much better (not because the result is better, just because I like being outside cooking on a grill), but when forced indoors, I'm convinced this is the only way to do it. I think I've also come around to the fact that the strip is the way to go. Flavor of a ribeye...texture of a filet. End result... Side was some cheesy asparagus/broccolini concoction I whipped up...8 points

I'm anti-globalist, so I vote for a guy whose clothes line, along with his daughter's, is manufactured overseas, whose resorts hire undocumented immigrants over citizen applicants, who's financed by Russians, who believes Putin over our domestic intelligence agencies, who praises Saudis after murdering a Washington Post employee, who repeatedly calls the domestic press "The Enemy of The People, disparages those who have fought for this country, deports those who have fought for this country, insults families whose children have died fighting for this country, while claiming he's in love with murderous Communist dictator.6 points

#3 coincided with the death of organized labor which the Republican party successfully turned into a dirty word. I still hear, especially in this state, people bemoan unions. Hey dipshits, if your name isn't on the company letterhead, YOU'RE LABOR. Took me many years to come around, but I'll glady keep paying my 5k+ annual union dues when I look at my pay/benefits/protections compared to the non organized other side.5 points

I can’t even imagine being such a fucking loser that I would have to pick apart every word written about OU and try to twist it around to put them in a bad light. It’s one my favorite things about aggy. They so desperately want to be seen as UTs equal.5 points

No, I do not think its an organized effort, nor do I think that people are scared, but it is human nature to not to admit to things that are highly embarrassing/unpopular. The 40% is the group of morons, racists and other human garbage who is proud of being the shitbags that they are. I believe that there is a significant portion of people who will answer a poll - whether anonymous or otherwise by saying they "disapprove of" or "will not for Trump again," but when it comes down to pulling the lever, we all know that they will vote R no matter what. Shit, there a bunch of those obvious liars right here on this board, and this is a pretty small cross section of people in relation to the voting populace. Plus, what exactly has been done to address or combat the Russian interference that helped get Trump elected in the first place? Oh, exactly nothing? That's right. So I am just not seeing why anyone is expecting a different result this time.4 points

Impeachment has a 100% of succeeding, regardless of whether Trump is removed. It will be a permanent stain on his presidency. It will uphold an appropriate standard and precedent for what is worthy of impeachment. It will limit Trump's ability to use the pardon power to further obstruct justice. And it will assist the Dems' efforts in the courts to get documents from the White House. All of those things would be successes.4 points

Much like Central America, the complete lack of opportunity and social freedom in red areas of the country will continue to cause migrants from those areas to go to blue cities where opportunity exists. If you want to fix San Francisco, you need to fix the shithole dying towns throughout the country that keep sending their people to San Francisco's doorstep. If Kansas tried to make Topeka a beacon of opportunity for Kansas residents instead of a cross between the Handmaid's Tale and Mad Max, more Kansans would stay in state instead of going to better states and putting increased pressure on infrastructure and housing prices there.4 points

Some pretty basic film study from Murf Baldwin. Nothing earth-shattering, but he likes the same things about the Texas offense that I like, namely that it's a hit-you-in-the-mouth kind of offense.4 points

America needs young people having kids. White people stopped having many kids a long time ago and that trend isn’t reversing. If America embraced more immigration and improved health care/education for immigrants, the next 50 years will be more prosperous for all. Including all of the white people who want a well funded govt. or you can be short sighted and whine about people getting a free meal.3 points
