  8. GOP elevated and fell lockstep behind a loudmouth conman with the instincts of a wrestling promoter. They should never be given the benefit of the doubt or taken seriously again, nor should Republican voters ever be referred to as conservatives. Theirs is an unpatriotic self-enrichment that cares not one whit about our democracy.

  11. 2015 was Strong’s first full class. 27 guys signed, .8943 average, 10th nationwide, 1st B12. Only one left is Burt. Some duds and no-shows, but included Malik, Connor Williams, Omenihu, Hill, Boyd, Davis, and the punter. 2016 was peak Strong era. 28 / .9007 / 7 / 1. Turned out better than it looked after Baylor raped its way into trouble. Would have been better had Hudson not medically washed out. Fair number of guys gone. Included Duv, Jones, Shark, Collin, Zach, Roach, and LJ 2017 had 6 committed when Herman took over. Ended with 17 / .8758 / 25 / 2. A few misses, but included Sam, Cosmi, TQ, Gary Johnson, Josh Thompson, Kerstetter, Bimage, Brewer and Boyce. 2018 was Herman’s honeymoon class. 27 / .9216 / 3 / 1. Rising and Williams gone. A few others may not pan out. Historically good safety haul. Lots of contributors and expected contributors. 2019 was the anti-honeymoon, the shadow of the jimbotron. 26 / .9119 / 3 / 1. Bru, Floyd, and Brown all off the board before the season starts, but 2/3 might be back. Potential - haven’t done anything yet. Our 247 class conference ranks are 1, 1, 2, 1, 1. It’s time. 2020 marks the reversion of aggy to the mean and under our boot. We’re at 16 / .9313 / 6 / 1 so far. 2021 is apparently the Milroe show. 7 / .9269 / 2 / 1 so far. source: 247

  17. What exactly is poor about the execution of him taking the time to do a quick summary on many of our classes, you worthless, crusty dipshit? I will say I’m amazed to see your fucking water-headed ass show up here unprompted. Normally the only thing to stir you to post is to hilariously fail to take potshots at CTJ or myself, or to quibble over fucking geography. Your posting history reads like an autistic stalker’s journal. 247 misses you, you two should spend more time together.

  20. On the younger guys in practice: -The IT report mentioned Coburn not quite being there yet, or some such bullshit. I was told he's a potential DLOTY this season with what he's doing in practice. I'm confident in who told me that and I think IT is full of shit with half what they put in that write-up. -They think Ojomo has the physical skills, but he's not always there mentally, and they think it is a youth thing. -There isn't a 2019 signee that they're not excited about, although Caleb Johnson is coming along slower than hoped in knocking the dust off after his shoulder problems from his JUCO time. -Jake Smith is going to play plenty, but they think they're truly stacked at WR across the board. Guys are going to be fighting for time. Kennedy Lewis is very, very likely to redshirt as this level of play is pretty far above what he's used to seeing. Woodard is going to have a hard time ever seeing the field. -Braun's coming along on passblocking, but he's not going to be a plus guy there any time soon. He's truly elite in the running game though. -They love the FR TEs. Wiley's got a chance to play. He could be a LT by his senior year. They like him. -Sweat is whipping ass. If you're lining up at NT and you're name isn't Coburn, Ojomo, Sweat, or Wilbon, you'll be transferring before school starts. -Owens is freakier than Adimora, but Adimora is the better football player today. They like both of those guys a lot. -No one knows why in the fuck Boyce is playing with the 1's other than they don't want him transferring before school starts. Watson is better than they hoped. In times past, I wouldn't lend much credence to a lot of the excitement from preseason practices, but this staff is proving that it can evaluate well. Texas is young but talented. Anything less than the Big 12 title this year will be a letdown to the team and those around it.

  23. The highlighted parts are the thing that bothers me most about the LSU fans posting on here. Chaisson career games played: 12 Chaisson career TFL and sacks: 5.5 and 3 BJ Foster career games played: 12 BJ Foster career TFL and sacks: 9 and 2.5 BJ Foster doesn't count as a returning starter and that is apparently an issue for Texas. K'Lavon Chaisson however, is the strength of LSU's defense, a future first round pick, and the best edge rusher in college football. So according to the LSU fans, returning experience matters when it matters, and it doesn't matter when it doesn't matter. Elite recruits lacking experience are going to improve LSU's defense, but they're going to hold back Texas's defense.

  25. This thread right now.... For the individual game odds given: 0-4: 51.15% 1-3: 38.43% 2-2: 9.51% 3-1: 0.88% 4-0: 0.02% (1 in 5000) I'm sure the Texags predictions are running at a similar distribution.

  30. tu is in the perception business. That's something they like to say, and it's in a post on the previous page. We win recruiting battles, big games, and championships just to be perceived as elite, I guess. The Aggies are genuine in their misplaced smugness and history of mediocrity. Advantage: Aggie.

  31. This is the truth and more people are starting to realize it, at least on here. There is ZERO chance Trump leaves the White House willingly. He's Individual 1, an un-indicted co-conspirator in felony campaign finance violations. Trump wasn't charged, solely because he is President and cannot be charged. A new Justice Department can reopen that investigation and he's in prison with Cohen. He wasn't charged for Obstruction of Justice, solely because he is President. If he isn't President anymore, that's 13 felony charges to hit him with, 9 of which are a slam dunk. A special prosecutor that actually digs broadly and doesn't conduct a ridiculously narrow investigation will find countless other felonies to charge him with. Even if the new President decides to turn the other cheek and Trump isn't charged federally, the state of New York is waiting until he is out to put his shit on blast. He faces the same dilemma every wannabe dictator faces, before they become an actual dictator. Trump can't ever leave office, or he will be criminally charged. He's going to cheat like the serial adulterer, liar, conman and felon that he is. Putin faces the same dilemma and cannot allow a Democrat in office, or international pressure on him will go through the roof. Putin is going to cheat like the murderer, liar, conman and felon that he is. We need to do everything in our power to make sure the voice against Trump is utterly overwhelming, so when he refuses to step down, which he will, people are pissed enough to take to the streets.

  32. My son got a year yesterday in California. My sister from Boise extended her visit because she said she loved being with us and didn't want to leave on Thursday. Had dinner with a couple we have been friends with for 22 years last night but only see once or twice a year. Hit the 7am this morning at Harbor and talked about powerlessness with four newcomers who have less than 30 days. Breakfast with my wife, sister, and a couple who have 50 years sober between them. These are all precious gifts that have been given to myself and my wife as a result of staying sober through working the steps and actively participating in our own recovery at our home group. The rapacious creditor as alcohol is called in the first step in the twelve and twelve has long since been given no consideration as the life that is now worth living one day at a time without it has taken it's place. My heart is at rest knowing that the spiritual journey that I began with a God I didn't know but now depend upon daily will continue for one more day. Hope you all have a great Saturday.
