  1. Collins has been a silent to Texas since the spring. There may have been some slight wavering, but never in OU's direction. They've been clueless idiots about his recruitment the entire time.

  3. https://www.besthugecocks.com/watch/1164666/emma-butt-pegging-her-male-slave Planters dials back on Mr. Peanut's death following Kobe Bryant news New York (CNN Business)Kraft Heinz (KHC) is pausing promotion for its Super Bowl ad that shows the death of longtime Planters mascot Mr. Peanut following the helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant and eight others. Planters' last week released a commercial in which the 104-year old mascot falls to his death after the company's Nutmobile veers off a cliff. The passengers -- actors Wesley Snipes and Matt Walsh -- all land on a tree branch, but Mr. Peanut "saves" them by letting go and falling to his death. The vehicle then explodes.

  5. Did a quick search to see if I could find it, but I wasn’t able to, and I also got distracted laughing at what was happening in the 2020 thread a year ago. Machinator was of course doing his programmed duties by filling the thread with quality content that we were all ignoring so we could argue about how Giles was going to manage missing on Collins, Broughton, and Princely. We were still hyped up about the Bru McCoy news and finishing with the #3 class for 2019. We thought we led for Ringo. Johnny Wilson was going to be the next CJ. @Katfid54 made his infamous post saying some Oregon RB looked just like Tre Watson. It must’ve been in the transfer thread because I didn’t see it, but i know it happened around this time, because everyone was making fun of him for it. Texas was all in on Zach Evans and thought to be the leader. His bro, CJ, was flaming aggy all over twitter, while Zach had skipped visits to Clemson and aggy, which was interpreted by us Surly sleuths as a great sign for Texas. Meanwhile, @Txsbigeasy1 was raining down fire with his sick edits that were getting posted by all the croots, and we loved him for it, until he posted a certain Evans edit... Then we all started freaking out and shaming him into wiping every trace of the edit from the internet Until this happened...

  10. 247 just rated Bijan the #1 RB in the country. Well deserved.

  11. .532 winning % is pretty damn good. Not sure who you classify as "great" just based on winning % but I would guess most people think these managers are "great" LaRussa - .536 Torre - .538 Sparky - .545 Pinella - .517 Leyland - .506 Showalter - .506 Francona - .542 Lasorda - .526 Maddon - .540 Felipe Alou - .503 Bochy - .497 He also took the Giants to game 7 of the WS....not just the one trip with the Cubs to NLCS. Yes he doesn't have a WS ring as a manager yet. 2020 looks to be his year though.

  12. i'm already there. the republican party is dead to me, and without a complete re imagining, i'll likely never vote for them again. (also, there will be no complete re-imagining, they are corrupt to the fucking bone)

  13. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if we modified the Gregorian calendar so that subsequent years shall be known as AK (anno Kobe). Goddamn is the nonstop media coverage a beating.

  14. Cornyn's seeming bland idiocy reflects the blackly sinister become banal. He tosses out the sophistry without even the effort of trying to make it appear logically convincing. The president's team has been hammering that sort of thing home for days now. Straw man arguments, invective against the House managers, and odd ball diversions into the irrelevant aren't getting laughed out of the room. How guilty must the entire GOP be that this is the best that they can do and they choose to do it? I will say anything that may help me as I try to cover up a massive criminal operation, and a huge number of voters will buy it. If that makes me a lying piece of shit, so be it; at least I'll still be in office and the enterprise will continue. How naive are we who believe that most men want to be known for having some level of integrity? Some iota of honesty? Some whisper of a sense of duty? I would have a long gallows if I couldn't manage to get enough iron cages for these traitors. I don't even write with a great feeling of passion. I'm as bland as Cornyn in my anger. Just round them up and punish them as they deserve. I'll nod and return to an ordinary life with maybe a scintilla of hope that the republic can right itself.

  15. Missed the mark. This is correct. Harvard graduates don’t come right out and tell you they went to Harvard. They make you work for it, by mentioning “Boston” or “Massachusetts” and then playing a game of 20 Questions until forced to drop the H-Bomb. Trust me on this. I learned it while in school near Boston.

  16. This. Fuck 'em. Doesn't matter what office or race, that (R) next to your name means that you've chosen to stand against the Republic instead of with it. So get fucked. And they'll never get right with the lord. So stay fucked.

  17. It's a full on mafia operation. The whole thing operates like consensual blackmail with a threat of retaliatory violence thrown in. Maybe you start as the guy who has a friend in the mob and he asked you to leave the door unlocked at work for a couple hundred bucks. You didn't expect they would kill someone in there that night. But now you're complicit in that murder, so the next time you go in a little further for a little more money. The next time even further. Trump is all in and has been for a long time. Some of the GOP is all in too. The rest are compromised by groups that are compromised themselves like the NRA. Either way, they all ended up with something to hide, and they are all willing to cover up Trump's treason for it. Really though, every single one of them needs to go to jail.

  19. @closetojumping brought up in the other thread landing, anything less than 10 of the top 20 for this class is unacceptable. Let's take a look how things stand at the moment. Feel free to chime in. 1) T. Brockermeyer - still think we land him in the end, but this would be the biggest miss/screwup I think we'll ever witness if it doesn't happen. 2) Wheaton - seems like this will be a tricky recruitment that could go a lot of different ways. Are we going to play the game on this one? Boulware seemed to be the lead recruiter on him for OU. 3) Byrd - looking good here (supposedly). 4) L. Jackson - has a Collins feel to it IMO. Will visit a few more times, $9.95ers will get our hopes up, but the legacy wins out in the end. Hope I'm wrong. 5) Sanders - COMMITTED. Absolute stud, may end up 5* in the end. 6) D. Jackson - was a Texas lean early in the season until we couldn't get out of our own way. Don't see a flip here. 7) Stone - nothing to say here. 8 ) Milroe - COMMITTED. Leader of the class. 9) Banks - aggy commit. Never really showed interest. 10) Burris - doubtful, although probably in the best spot with him we've been. Aggy likely. Hope to be wrong on this. 11) Foster - would already be a Texas commit if not for the aggy mom. Aggy mom is the only thing that may keep him from us. Kid loves Coach Hand and probably knows Henson is a scrub coach. 12) McCutchin - Bama' commit and mad at Texas because we offered 24 hours late or something 13) Davis - one time Texas commit and likely to rejoin. 14) LJ Johnson - I think Texas is in a good spot here. 15) Bowman - COMMIT. Bad ass Billy is another big time stud. Borderline 5* in the end imo. 16) JoJo - at one point Texas was leader, but didn't have us in a recent top 5. Need to get back in on this one. 17) C. Jackson - OU commit. 18) Fatheree - seems to be higher priorities on the board and seems like a candidate to drop throughout the year. 19) Clayton Smith - kid likes Texas, but doesn't appear to much communication with him from the new staff. Is he a DE or an off the ball LB? 20) Blackshire - doubt this one happens. As always, a lot will change in the rankings and this will look a lot different down the line. Thoughts?

  21. While aggy takes Conservatism to extremes that would make John Birch blush, I think it is important to be fair to Conservatives generally (and mind you, I'm a raging Liberal saying this) by pointing out that it's not the Conservatism that is offensive, it's the aggyness. Their cult-like approach to anything and everything inevitably makes their political opinions -- no matter where on the political spectrum those opinions might reside -- offensive at worst, and toxic and ridiculous at best. The fact that they are aggy is what makes them incapable of not going cloak room all the damned time.
