  3. Oh, I know. Which is why it would be special for our little group to have something to remember. I’ve posted here for over ten years and I don’t want to wallow in the poke board who probably wants to fire Gundy and pull Sanders’ scholarship. That’s not my bag. Just venting here. Thanks for listening. Again, congrats on the win.

  4. If you've been following the news, shit is bad. Really bad. There's lots they need, but there's only so much regular folks can do. But here's a thing you can do, and they desperately need it: please donate to their food bank. They are just about out of money and out of food. And the people of El Paso have never needed it more: https://elpasoansfightinghunger.org/donate El Paso is good people, and a lot of them are hard working folks who make enough, but not a lot more than that. And even without accounting for ordered business limitations, because people are taking the COVID surge there seriously, work (and thus pay) is taking a nosedive for a lot of them right now. They need our help. This is what we fucking do, and now is when we fucking do it. So let's help our fellow Texans in their hour of need. I'd sure appreciate it, and they will too.

  5. I am confused with the logic in this post. So on one hand you have Joe Biden, who's son was conducting business with some people in the Ukraine and possibly China. Despite all efforts to tie Joe to it, it appears he distanced himself from it pretty well. He has opened his financial books, and there is no money trail leading back to him to corroborate the story. Just a single guy saying that the Joe KNEW about Hunter's business dealings. Hunter clearly looks as though he capitalized on his last name to gain in business, though he went to Georgetown and Yale for education. On the other hand you have Donald Trump and his family. Neither Jared or Ivanka were in politics or government prior to Trump's presidency, and they both somehow landed White House Senior Advisor gigs, thereby breaking the Bobby Kennedy law. But we will look past that one for a sec. Both kids have brokered deals OPENLY, while not only being relatives of the President, but while being White House officials as well. Jared in particular appears to be making personal financial deals with people in the very countries he is also responsible for overseeing in his White House role. Trump is openly funneling government funds into his personal businesses. He has a verified account in China, where millions have passed through during his Presidency. He is fighting tooth and nail to hide his books, going as far as to present it to the Supreme Court. So I am confused as to how you see the Trump situation as better? Unlike the Biden where it's damn tough to tie Joe to any of it, the Trump's are breaking all kinds of actual laws, and doing it openly. Explain that to me.

  6. I'd love to see the math where increased taxes on a few partners materially impacts the salary of 10,000 people. If you have 20 partners that pull a million a year from the business that's 12 million in dollars taxed at Biden's new tax rate. That equals $264,000 in taxes. Spread across 10,000 people that's $26.40 per year or $1.01 per paycheck. Biden's plan will have no material impact on your paycheck. This is an example of how rich people get not-rich people to do their bidding at the voting booth. You're getting played. I'm not looking to go way down this path because I'm more of a "call stupidity out" guy and not a "shame you for disagreeing with me" guy. I just wanted to actually see the math.

  7. We will never make the playoff. It’ll never happen in my lifetime nor my kids not their kids nor ever. This was the only year we had even a remote chance. And we blew it as we always do. Four fucking turnovers against an unranked team with two losses. This has to be hilarious from the outside but goddamnit I just want one year. One, and I’d be happy with that one year. I’ve turned to other hobbies and interests but I let myself care again for this year only. What a fucking mistake. I wish I could be like some of my friends who don’t follow these games at all and don’t care. I want more than anything to be capable of not caring anymore. Congrats guys. Order has been restored. We won’t bother you anymore under Urban Meyer.

  11. I'm going to quote myself bc this is still my feeling with the game over. All today proves is that this team was capable of much more with the appropriate preparation. Anything positive Tom did for himself tonight is equally damning of the job he did against tech, tcu, and ou. He should still be gone, but I'm really happy for the players who deserved the win.

  13. This pandemic has really laid bare why those making $400k or more get insanely wound up over tax increases: A lot of them are paycheck to paycheck just like poor people. They might have a $1.2 million home, a 5 series, and a Range Rover, but they are redlining just like the family of 5 in a rented 2 bedroom duplex with a 20 year old Camry with a busted out window. It was amazing to watch the hand wringing when the shutdown hit and people who should have the means to build up a year of expenses with no problem are suddenly claiming that the lockdown will break them. Let's lump corporate America in there, too. It's amazing to see companies with hundreds of millions in market cap all of a sudden pushed to the brink when 1 month of income went out the window. As it turns out, we really are a welfare state. From the very bottom to the tip top.

  15. DO YOU SEE THIS FOLKS, THEY ARE ALLOWING MORE THAN 100% OF VOTERS TO VOTE. 118%, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? I'M NOT MAKING THIS UP, THEY TWEET ABOUT IT IN THE OPEN, THAT'S HOW LITTLE THEY CARE FOR THE RULE OF LAW, THEY DON'T EVEN HIDE IT. THIS IS WHAT I TOLD YOU WOULD HAPPEN WITH CRAZY JOE RUNNING. SUPREME COURT! SECOND AMENDEMENT! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

I remember when I used to think I was so much smarter than my dad but then I actually gained some life experience and realized just how fucking smart my dad was and just how stupid I was for thinking I was smarter than him. If we need some recommendations for the latest coffee or craft beer we will ask you but otherwise go sit in the corner and kindly keep your mouth shut. Thanks!

  25. I’m in an 8 team fantasy football league with my two sons and their friends. Other than me obviously, they are all 19-24 years old. I’ve gotten 5 of them to vote so far. None have ever voted before. They all voted Biden. I’m still working on the the other two. We may be the only blue votes in this dark red county, but I’m trying to do my part. By the way, I’ve never voted a Democrat for Pres. Always Libertarian. Can’t believe I not only voted for one, but am actively recruiting others to do the same.

  29. Plus here are some other examples of how we pay indirectly. Vote to claw some of this back to the hundreds of millions of Americans who are paying for it each and every day: First up: This is a recorded fact. Do Americans mind when Presidents stay active? Not at all. But this is the first time a President has made money off of his side gig. Second: Can we haz unions? No? More money for our labor? No? Guess it sucks to our assmar? Third: Stimulus check for Americans living on the razor thin edge is down to what now? $5.00 a day average? Senate is adjourned. Finally: Give me a break. Trump and the GOP are an economic disaster.

  30. You know what the Constitution has to do with Glen Greenwald getting in a fight with his editors and resigning? Did you ever take a single fucking college-level class that covers the US government and the Constitution? Or even a high school-level class?

  31. It’s literally the Brown shirts tactics in the 21st century. They’re running a play directly out of the Nazi playbook. It’s not LIKE that play...it IS that play. Y’all who don’t realize that we’re Germany in the 1930s need to get your shit right.

  33. And short-sightedness / failure to plan for the future is a hallmark trait of sociopathy. Enchubben lives in a world where he willingly votes in the interests of his bosses, and his bosses also vote in their own interests. The only people in his world who are looking out for Enchubben’s interests are the people he’s arguing with. I feel really bad for people who think like this. I also hate that I feel bad for them, because they are as responsible as anyone for this mess. Three days before the fireworks start. I hope for Enchubben’s sake as well as ours that he doesn’t get his way.

  34. Pretty much every single rat fuck dumbass I went to HS with is a Trumptard and I've watched it on fb for the last 5 years. Our 20 year HS reunion was this fall and I declined to visit because it was a bunch of white trash sucking eachothers dicks about Trump. When Biden wins I wanna shit in each of their faces. Literally or figuratively whatever.
