  1. I don't know why Jourdan Lewis' injury isn't getting talked about more. That was a big loss.
  2. Yeah that excuse doesn't hold water considering Ewers was showing signs of being MIA in the 1st half and it was a one score game for virtually the entire game. He just needs to be honest and tell people he's fully invested in the Ewers project for the future and he's willing to sacrifice wins now so he gets experience.
  3. I have noticed this too. It's weird to me it's not a bigger topic of discussion. Herman and Strong caught hell for their poor body language during games. Sark squirms when shit goes left. It's all over his face. Another data point the guy is a coordinator not a head coach.
  4. Criminal to continue to play the inferior QB, directly resulting into two losses. I wonder how this is playing in that locker room. They know their multi-million dollar QB ain't it (yet).
  5. The backup is worse than one of the worst QB performances in recent CFB history?
  6. We have a decent, above average backup QB that's probably better than 90% of the backups in CFB. If your starting QB is showing the nips in his first true road game, then it's your fucking job as head coach to make the move to the backup instead of standing there looking constipated all game. Gottdamn, how can you absolve him of any blame if you just admitted the starting QB "could not execute the offense"?
  7. Robison on the postgame said the team looked tight. That's how Sark looked on the sidelines all game. He looked uncomfortable, under pressure, unable to make the big boy decision. I swear it's Herman all over again in that aspect.
  8. When you have a bye week coming up, what the hell is the harm in bringing in Card to win that game then spending the bye week fixing Ewers issues? Now your team is mentally finished heading into a 2 week break & you have recruit coming off this L. This guy Sark is an enigma.
  9. The secondary was a total abomination today. Just sickening disgusting play from our DBs and safeties. Both position coaches should be fired along with PK obviously. Just clean house and give Patterson the keys to that side of the ball. He seems to want to stay in Austin for a bit and enjoy the golfing life.
  10. I understand dorks like you needing training wheels, but any sensible person who can discern the game views PFF's flawed grading system as a joke. It has zero relevancy to me.
  11. A dork like you would have a pff sub. 😂
  12. Never block. Wish he'd change that God-awful asterisks avi, otherwise he is harmless. I've had the audacity to semi-acknowledge the seeds they are planting over there which has upset some of you. But I'm a UT fan/alum. I want to see A&M in the dirt. I don't like losing recruits to them. You say I like this shit, when in reality, for recruiting purposes, I would have LOVED to have seen them totally emasculated tonight on national TV. It didn't happen, now we're stuck having macro-level debates about its (lack) impact. It's not that serious to block someone, we'll see how things play out over the next few weeks.
  13. Because I realize without a very good QB it is extremely difficult to win big in modern CFB. I was never high on King, Calzada, or Mond but I'm extremely bullish on Weigman. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Jumbo is forced to make some changes to the offense if it flutters throughout the season which all of us obviously do not want to see. Other than that, they have a lot of pieces in place already in the trenches/skill positions to make a playoff run starting next season.
  14. Glad you admit tonight was a moral victory for A&M, please explain to the bumbling idiot @Rickylovesweed who apparently gets high on his own stuff and starts tagging me several times a day about the impending demise of A&M and their recruiting class. What you guys are essentially telling me is to bury my head in the sand and ignore true freshmen Shemar Turner, Walter Nolen, Evan Stewart, Chris Marshall, Kam Dewberry going toe-to-toe with Bama all night b/c aggies have been shit forever and that's how it will always be. Yeah, I'm not getting on that train. They've never had this much talent, they have more coming, and will be on a bigger stage sooner than later.
  15. Recruits don't give a shit about how much a coach makes they care about that "history rated recruit class" and the ability to play with them (e.g. Hill's comments about choosing them).
  16. They are throwing a shitload of talented players at the problem so damn straight recruiting matters. Eventually, the talent will overcome Jumbo's deficiencies. But to answer your question directly, I've always said that 2023/24 are when they start winning big (playoffs). This is the year before the year for A&M much like it is for us. I have never been bullish on this QB so he'll either have to become serviceable over the next year or Weigman will need to be ready by next season. Either way, I am very bullish on them getting at least 9 wins next year and 10 the following year as long as they don't have a mass exodus of disgruntled players. This notion that I have been predicting playoffs the last 5+ years for them is a total misnomer that you created out of your peanut brain.
  17. You sound insecure. Yes, we did the same thing. What is your point? If we did the same thing, why is one a recruiting victory and the other a recruiting setback?
  18. If what I was saying was wrong, you guys would be in here celebrating tonight but you're not. This was at worse a recruiting stalemate. Their next 4 games will determine how their class holds up.
  19. Yes, I'm well aware. Unfortunately, recruits don't care. They saw the #1 team pushed to the brink by a young up and coming team. I'm not trying to gaslight you, this is how recruits will see it.
  20. Played Bama tight on the road with a bunch of freshmen and sophomores on primetime network television. Regardless of the record, tonight was a recruiting win for them not the epic collapse you guys were anticipating.
  21. I've always said they will be really good in 2023/2024. Do you not see all the freshmen/sophomores playing, idiot?
  22. No matter the outcome, aggy has done enough to avoid the recruiting implosion many were predicting would come following this game.
