  1. I like Pog’s program for next year and can’t wait to watch. He’s obviously capable of winning the Giro-Tour double, but I’m not ready to make a significant wager on that until we get to see how he looks in the Classics and get a better look at how the team changes affect the dynamic and hierarchy of the peloton. Lots of riders with big goals in 2024. I’m all the way in for all of it. LFG!
  2. I’m sure there’s no shortage of great players from music scenes like hair metal, bro country, and flavor of the month pop acts, etc. Sometimes you gotta pay the bills with the understanding that you might not achieve the respect or recognition you’re looking for if the music you make has an expiration date on popularity or relevance, which probably most music. That makes it even more incredible for the musicians who create stuff that stands the test of time. We’ll see if Kip can compose as well as other rockers like Stewart Copeland and Jonny Greenwood.
  3. Seriously? This isn’t Texags. We have a robust music forum with many professional, amateur, and hobbyist players, composers, producers, and just all around legit music fanatics. I’m sure we will get internet from more than 5 Surly posters. Hell, I watch music documentaries and biopics for artists I’m not even into just because I’m fascinated by the process and what make them tick as artists. I’m in.
  4. I love how they keep taking about the timeline of when they expect to be “getting a natty” with no mention whatsoever of a conference championship game appearance, conference title, or other milestones on the way to marked improvement. They’ll never understand why they’re further from greatness (or actual relevance) than they believe. Never change, aggy.
  5. And the unhinged, hysterical shrieking of “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!!!!” anytime the serious discussion of common sense reforms regarding either access to firearms or the firearms themselves is raised. The inflexibility to even consider having the discussion is a sickness.
  6. I’ll always remember seeing a sign at the 2001 Holiday Bowl that read, “Huskies are clothes for fat kids.” That’s all I need to know.
  7. No shit. Between the emphatic conference championship win yesterday, CFP selection today, and this this thread of aggy tears, I need a break to reset my dopamine levels to baseline. What an incredible couple of days. 🤘
  8. So much for “fuck them brakes.” Let the offense go fast Sark!
  9. As it should be. It’s been Texas’ weak spot all year
  10. Conference championship and a bowl win is a realistic goal, but Texas is not a CFP team this year
  11. Goddammit defense, attack! Fuck this passive bullshit
  12. One foot on the brakes and just enough gas in the tank to get there
  13. Yeah, let’s worry more about running clock than going for a score
  14. Meanwhile OU has put 59 on WV with over 7 minutes left and backups playing. Texas just can’t demoralize teams and put them away
  15. Up by 20 going into the 4th Q, leading all stats, and still feels frustrating
  16. We’re back to the scoreless 3rd quarter thing. Awesome.
  17. Every conference game for Texas is a goddamn struggle
  18. Hope the offense starts playing with some energy and intent
  19. Fuck yes! This is a kickstarter I will happily give a generous helping hand. Never understand why this guy hasn’t been more cited for his undeniable influence on post punk guitar playing. It’s about damned time this story was told.
