  1. Add Burns and Homa, subtract Harris English and Berger (although I like Berger, someone else has to go along with English).
  2. Just think of how different this take is (which I agree with, btw) if Worthy holds on to 3 balls that he's been catching since he was 12 years old. The plays are there, Sark is getting us into positions to succeed, and kids have shown improvement week over week. I'm hopeful.
  3. Flawless choice of song for that trailer, though.
  4. Except for birdie on 9 and eagle on 16 in the afternoon match? C'mon man, he putted like total shit in the AM, but lacking confidence he isn't.
  5. Also ... Peak Time period - whenever it was that you were 12-16 or so. Rock Bottom - the time period immediately after that one.
  6. Best Sketch: too many to pick just one. Van Down by the River. Synchronized Swimming. Who Orders Lobster in a Diner? Cheeseburger. If It's not Scottish it's CRAP. Waynes World with Aerosmith. Best cast member: Belushi. Farley. Ferrell. Sandler on SNL was great, regardless of what you think of him now. I'm a fan of the female takeover in the last 10-15 years, starting with Tina and Amy, into Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Cecily Strong.
  7. Rami Malek is insanely talented. I'm down to watch that one. Brandi Carlile is the musical guest with Sudekis. That's gonna be a great show; she fucking WAILS.
  8. Lord. Did all of the UT and UT-adjacent QBs go to Utah?
  9. What in the literal fuck? I hadn't seen that before. Thank you for sharing. Jesus.
  10. It's also a MAJOR departure from how our previous two coaches operated, in a good way.
  11. Caffeine-free Coke disappeared right at the beginning of covid20, reappeared briefly at the beginning of 2021, and disappeared again just a few weeks later, not being seen since.
  12. I cannot possibly agree with a statement more than I agree with this one. 100PCT agree. He's legit on the spectrum, and he needs better advisors. I don't say that to throw stones, but to observe that his support structure NEEDS to be different than some other people. That's ok, but he's not really taking much responsibility for this shit either.
  13. I totally get this take, but also, golf is different. Fans are sometimes within feet of the golfers. The bias towards quiet means a single loud, shouted voice can have a material impact on a swing, a shot, a tournament. There's no 'background noise' to drown out the assholes. And this is way more than just "a few guys giving Bryson the needle." It's fully possible to differentiate some good-natured trash talk from targeted assholery. I'm of the opinion that targeted assholery should be an automatic ejection from a tournament, no refund given, and I don't care what player it's targeted at. It wouldn't take long for some of this shit to die away. For me, even the "mashed potatoes" guy should get kicked out, and also get off my lawn.
  14. +1 to @cabowabo - the grey market dealers have a lot to like, ESPECIALLY if you're venturing into your first higher-end watch and need to save some coin. I bought from Jomashop, received a completely-untouched new-in-original-packaging Omega at a $2k discount from the boutique shop prices, and when I needed to submit for a warranty claim, they actually just sent me the original warranty card and told me to call Omega directly.
  15. 100% same. I enjoyed batch 1, bought a bottle of batch 2 and really liked it, even at that price point (granted, I'm a sucker for slightly sweeter ryes, so it was right up my alley). Have heard bad things about B3 and beyond from folks that recommended B1 and 2 to me ...
  16. Is this the same episode as "We drank some blood. Those guys were on drugs. Now I'm a wizard!"? Because that shit was hilarious.
  17. I suddenly have too many things to watch tomorrow ... Ted Lasso, two eps of Archer, and next week WWDITS. Good problem to have, hermanos.
  18. RCRanger hasn't been seen here in six weeks ...
  19. That trailer looks nothing like the goddamned books. This is going to be an "inspired by" show, and i hate it already. disclosure - Foundation was the first "grown up" sci-fi I ever read. I read every novel in the series, even the posthumous ones, every 3-4 years. It's going to be very difficult for me to enjoy this. I'll still watch but ... I promise not to Derka these threads, tho.
  20. Is anyone on this thread a member at Onion Creek? I'm considering joining somewhere, and I'd love to get a feel for the MGA out there, ask some questions.
  21. Playing in the State Mid-Am qualifier at Grey Rock tomorrow. Buddy (better golfer than me) is gonna caddy, which really means walk with me and help read putts :). Hitting it ok, but really haven't been playing much. We'll see how this goes, but excited to put the tee in the ground again and have to count all the shots.
