  1. http://syntex-error.blogspot.com/2004/12/post-2004-caltexas.html?m=1 This it? Not Scipio’s, but still good
  2. Second this. Was concerned that they were going to take a shot at the end. Take the timeout and put the ball in the hands of your offense that can try and push it or just kneel it to end the half. Don’t give them a chance to get a “free” play.
  3. Let’s fucking go. Embarrass those assholes at home.
  4. https://x.com/andewall/status/1698017702021931447?s=46&t=F-nu_YN7Xnp7Al2Z9ZQGXg Obligatory fuck FOX. So goddamn stupid.
  5. From 78735 trying to be productive before a long weekend... FIGHT!!!
  6. That's a 70 yarder...he's kicking from the opposite 40-yard line.
  7. Aggy getting sent out to Stanford would be fucking awesome.
  8. That’s a name that always makes me wonder “what if” I think he could have been really good both junior and senior years.
  9. Some good comfort food. Venison chop steak in an onion and mushroom gravy. Good on a cold night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I've heard good things about Klein's in Pflugerville. I haven't taken a deer there yet, but I know of someone who has used them for years with no problems. They do make Andouille sausage as well. Looks like they're open today until 6pm.
  11. This is the correct answer. Would be fucking hilarious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Hopped into my treestand on Tuesday morning (which sits about 250 yards from my feeder), and I came away with some freezer filler. With the sun coming up, I kept hearing what sounded like something busting up brush to my 3 o’clock. Caught a glimpse of a deer, and then a few minutes later, a small, velvet 7-8 point popped out about 60 yards in that direction. He disappeared, and again, I kept hearing some brush busting in that direction. I caught a glimpse of a deer about 30 yards out and coming towards me, and I grabbed my bow. As the deer came in to about 10 yards, I saw horns on his head, and he kept working to my 12 o’clock until he was directly in front of me at about 18 yards to beat up a bush. I drew back, and after having to squat down to get a shot underneath a couple of leaves, I released my arrow. The buck didn’t know what hit him. Blood started spurting out, and he ran about 20 yards down the hill before his ass fell out from under him and he toppled over. The bush he was beating up on is in the center of the photo below. Helluva way to spend a Tuesday morning. Looking forward to sitting in that stand during the rut. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Heading out to the lease this evening to catch some of this cold weather tomorrow morning. Was able to get in 3 hunts for the archery opener, but didn't see much. The rainfall the area received just before the start of the season has it looking like spring out there. Nothing is coming to the feeders. I have a spot about 15' up in an oak tree that gives me a good view in every direction. Saw a nice, dark-horned 7 or 8 pointer from that spot a few weeks ago about 120 yards out...wouldn't mind getting a closer look at him. Wouldn't mind putting a doe in the freezer either.
  14. As much as we all enjoy blaming Mack, kickers aren't typically coached by anyone on staff, at least not at the college level. There are private kicking instructors that most elite kickers are going to starting early in high school and are coached by for the rest of their careers. That being said, a school with as much money as Texas should have an instructor on retainer. One of the best things the Dallas Cowboys ever did from a special teams standpoint was hiring ex-kicker and instructor Chris Boniol to be an assistant special teams coach. He coached Dan Bailey when Bailey was one of the best kickers in the league.

    NFL Week 5

Listened to the Eagles radio guys interview Dicker postgame. He got asked about big kicks in college prepping him for this moment, and he took the opportunity to mention his kick from 4 years ago this weekend when he also beat Kyler with a game-winner! Dude is an absolute baller. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I was at the 2004 Okie State game as well as this one, and both were extremely loud. Underrated part of the Okie St game is that the old north end zone was still there, so there were only about 80,000 fans. For WVU, I remember watching the strip sack happen and turning to my buddy sitting next to me, not two feet away. I couldn't hear him yelling over the crowd noise.
  17. Fucking skinny chicks is just an appetizer for fucking fat chicks in terms of talent and entertainment See how stupid that sounds? This is so tone deaf and a complete misunderstanding of what college football is. Embrace the chaos. Fuck off to the Cowboys thread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Posse East each and every time my dude Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Campbell giving Tennessee all it can handle up 4-3 through 4. Had bases loaded up 4-0 in the bot 3 and couldn’t add more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Had that happen a few years back on Thanksgiving weekend, and I was bowhunting, so even up close that’s hard to see. Still eats good though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Congrats! That’s a great buck. It changes the game once you get your first one with a bow, you get addicted to doing that all the time. I hardly gun hunt anymore unless I absolutely need to put one in the freezer on a given day. It’s also incredible how resilient whitetails can be. That will to live kicks in and they’ll go on forever. I got a doe on Saturday morning and hit her probably an inch or two more forward than you did, and she only went 50 yards. Sometimes you just don’t know how far they’ll go, even with a solid hit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Received my booster yesterday (Pfizer) after getting J&J back in March. So easy to schedule on the CVS website. Surprisingly, no side effects other than a sore arm and a kind of spacey feeling in my head, and this is after I felt like death post-J&J. I was also dreading it because my fiancé got her third Pfizer shot last Tuesday and is just now recovered from a delayed allergic reaction as well as going through the fever/sore throat routine.
  23. I've heard good things about it, and Elite makes solid bows. The range of draw length and weight is important since he's growing, but you don't want to skimp on quality either. That's a bow he'll have for awhile. If you decide you want to grab one, shoot every brand/bow they have available in the shop. 2022 bows will be coming out soon as well (even if they aren't radically different from this year's selection), so something to consider. You might surprise yourself with the bow you end up with by trying out everything they have to offer, unless you're dead set on the RX-5.
