I think that’s the price now at fucking Mi Cocina.

Agree with everything you said about Mi Cocina, but I check the menu out of curiosity- surprised to see their cheese enchilada dinner is $13.95.

I will leave the thread. This will be my last post and it will be in response to you as the owner.

Much like the neo-democratic party it is a subforum of groupthink where you fall in line or you get crowdsourced. There is zero open discussion. There is zero bipartisan talk. That isnt because people that are right center or further dont exist.

Dude just described exactly what happens to any Republican that doesn't kiss the ring/toe the MAGA line to a fucking T. Self-awareness is apparently not strong suit with cults. Who knew.

And I can spend $15 on plants that produce peppers all the way through november and sell 10 pint jars to friends for $3-5/ plus have about 5 jars for myself.  Plus they taste better than those ginormous bell pepper-y jalapenos I get at the store.

I do half serranos in mine. The japs get plenty hot.

@jimmyjazz my buddy has bbq truck at the Good Lot in Cedar Park, and his peppers and pickles are awesome. So I  was surprised to b find out his brine is literally just water, distilled vinegar, and salt. I do 3 cups water, 1 cup vinegar, and a little less than 1/4 cup of salt. He adds garlic to the pickles.

I’ve been really disappointed with all pickled japs for years now. They all have been so mushy.

    This....

But I don't buy them anymore other than for a party.  For daily use, I pickle my own every summer.  Have 2 pint jars in the fridge from my October/November pepper harvest.

    -Whole Black Pepper Kernels

    -Minced Garlic

    -Sea Salt

    -Vinegar

    -Jalapenos

I "fridge" pickle them, so they'll stay good for about a year.

Gotta have some bite to them. I want to slap myself for not pickling my own before last holiday season. Easiest shit ever.

  5. I have a buddy that owns a home services company here in Dallas. He has a guy that he hired five years ago to run his warehouse. Well since then, the guy has ballooned to over 450 lbs and is in terrible health. He was admitted for sepsis and a host of other things a few weeks ago. His situation was so bad that he couldn't use one of his arms or one of his legs for a time. He lives in a 2nd floor apartment and my buddy had to send his installers with a dolly to get the guy up to his apartment. He's moved him from the warehouse to an office desk because he's incapable of doing the work.

So now he's pretty much incapable of doing even simple office work, and my buddy wants to let him go. He's obviously concerned about opening himself up to a wrongful termination/discrimination suit. Couple of notes- he said the guy hits a weed pen at his desk and falls asleep constantly.

Small company with < 10 full time employees if that matters. Any info would be appreciated.

Incredible “Bob’s world” today. He explained sports parlays.

    That’s it.

He's been a 'splainer for a long time and now there's a huge void without Norm telling everyone shit he thinks he knows but no one else does.
