  1. meanwhile Mack Brown is fucking 9-1 bring him back
  2. You make a great point that I was thinking about on my drive home from the game. This team more than any other I can remember completely relies on momentum. When we lose it, we shell up and look like shit. When we have it, everything is clicking on all cylinders. The issue last night is that we did not call enough plays to get momentum on our side. Calling deep shot after deep shot that goes incomplete sucks the life out of the players and the fans and puts us in these 2nd and long/3rd and long situations that we are historically horrible against.
  3. Im going to just vomit my thoughts here as a vent/therapy session - feel free to read or move along 1. The emphasis to Worthy has to stop. Its clear he is not the same X from last year. Sophomore slump, whatever, idk what it is.. but the deep bombs are not working. Move him to the slot and put someone else outside. The timing, the effort, everything is off. He is still a bad ass, but these deep bombs into quadruple coverage where X barely even tries to make a move on the ball KILL our drives. Please stop. J Whitt should be target #1. Then JT. Then Worthy underneath. 2. The THIRD punt block attempt was idiotic. It absolutely lost us the game. I understand why we did it, but Sark needs to read the fucking room. We got lucky with non-calls or lesser calls on the first two attempts. Our offense FINALLY had a good drive. Our defense gets the rare 3-and-out. Then we go take a stinky dump all over it with that stupid fucking call. DO BETTER. 3. I cant put all the blame on Quinn, but like 85% of it is on him. I dont think he got any help from WRs or playcalling, but his vision was terrible last night and cost us at least one TD that I know off (wheel route to Bijan). We cant just give up on the kid, that would be horrible for us. But Sark should realize when Quinn is in a funk sooner and make the change. Gundy benched his own flesh and blood yesterday, yet Sark doesnt want to hurt mullets feelings? Fuck that shit. WIN THE FUCKING GAME. 4. Bijan is amazing, he really is, but he dances too fucking much. RUN OVER SOMEONE. Stop dancing around trying to make every play a 50 yard td run. Dancing around like that wont work in college and it definitely wont work in the NFL. Just get us the fucking first down. 5. Playcalling was terrible. I dont know if its Sark calling 18 deep bombs to Worthy every game or if Quinn is just saying fuck it and chunking it deep... but its terrible. I dont want to see another deep bomb all year. Quinn hasnt hit one since Bama, and btw I think that was the ONLY one he hit. ITS NOT WORKING.
  4. Youre right but idk if id consider that bama game "meaningful". It was an OOC game that basically had 0 stakes other than "its bama".
  5. have the guys on this current roster played in a bigger game than this? maybe there are a few left from the bowl game against Georgia, but outside of that, I cant think of a more meaningful game that these guys have suited up for. i hope they realize this and are ready to cook up some fucking frog legs tonight.
  6. My throat hurts from screaming last night, but atleast it was good yelling and not bad yelling. waking up with that dub feels fucking good and im gonna soak it in.
  7. wow a slant over the middle for a first down, i sure wish we could adopt that play
  8. that was PI but yeah i agree, stupid fucking call from the hillbillies
  9. fucking embarrassing. are these your opponents or your fucking friends? save that shit for after the game, pussy
  10. Im tired of the media always saying "are they back/not back" "do they have a winning culture" blah blah blah No other fucking team in the country gets put under that microscope. Lots of teams lose. Are they back? Who fucking knows because apparently its only Texas who can be back/not be back.
  11. this is what ive been noticing this season. our wrs cant track the ball worth a fuck and put themselves out of position with terrible adjustments on the ball. quinn fucking sucked last night, no doubt, but he also didnt get any help from anyone (wrs, coaches, o line, etc).
  12. anyone see the DB knock the fuck out of a WR for oklahoma st on their go ahead TD and just stop in the middle of the play to help the mother fucker up off the ground while they scored a TD? what the fuck was that shit
  13. You start Ewers when he is 100% healthy with as little re-injury as possible. If he is 80% and a hit or two to the shoulder could have him sitting ROS, you don't risk it. Ewers is our starter and as soon as he is ready, you play him.
  14. If Ewers is 100% healthy without a high risk of re-injury, he should start. But you are right, there is a coaching decision to make here and I dont envy it. We don't want to have a Sam Bradford situation with Ewers where we rush him back and he gets taken out in the RRS. Card has had all the game reps recently and you don't want to throw a guy in that atmosphere that will have some rust and has never experienced it before. Also - if Gabriel is out (which he should be, especially with all this Tua stuff lately) we should be able to win without Ewers. I want Ewers back, but I see a situation where Card starts and we give Ewers an extra week of rest.
  15. time to watch the baseball man take 4 balls!
