  1. additionally, as you are flying out of indianapolis, you can buy it by the bottle at harry & izzy's in terminal a past security.
  2. All that hate’s gonna burn you up, kid.
  3. Used to go there all the time for work. As stated, St. Elmo is the place to for a steakhouse, be sure to get the shrimp cocktail. The 1933 Lounge upstairs is a nice little spot as well. The Le Meridien right next store is a nice hotel if you can catch a good rate.
  4. bird hunting near corsicana with a brokerage desk i was at in the mid/late 00s. one of the owners said he had a great bar close by we should visit in mustang/corsicana. not enough brain bleach in the world.
  5. Canada, eh? What have them Duque boys gotten themselves into this time?
  6. Went there last month with my wife and really enjoyed it - the food (I use salsa lizano on everything I can now), drinks, and especially the people, are great. We stayed at the Hotel Mangroove Papagayo and really enjoyed it. If you want to play the points game, it is a Marriott Autograph property and a steal at 35,000 points/night. Although not an all-inclusive place, they offered all-inclusive on food/drink for $120/pp/day which made everything really easy - basically spent the middle of every day eating ceviche and drinking by the pool and looking out at the bay. That said, we got a driver/guide and took a 6a-7p day trip to Arunal (as suggested above) and it was our favorite day. Did the hanging bridges in the Mistico forest, which isn't overly adventurous or off-path, but we got what we wanted with the exception of a sloth sighting. All sorts of colorful poisonous frogs, a few vipers, birds, etc. We walked down to the La Fortuna waterfall, which was beautiful but it's a lot...a lot...of steps back up. I'm in my late 30s, ride the bike a few mornings a week for 10+ miles, and I was gassed. There were a ton of people down there that had me wondering how they would make it back up. After that we went to a place called EcoTermales Hot Springs, which is only a day location (no hotel) and it was great. I would repeat that whole day again in a heartbeat. Considering the Papagayo/bay setup was less "beach-y" than I was expecting, and they pool was where I wanted to be, I would honestly look for a similar setup inland in, or close to, the rainforest ecosystem. The area close to Papagayo/Liberia Airport was more dry forest.
  7. Anyone long a Friday pass? Really only need GA, but it’s for the wife so if there’s some place I can drop her off with wine and shade, I’m interested.
  8. You’re not from around these parts, are ya?
  9. Fucked around and got a triple double
  10. Same place. It was called the Draught Horse into the early 00s as best I recall.
  11. You may be able to call and expedite delivery in time (maybe). But for the card that fits your needs, I would say the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card is spot on. No foreign trans fees, $95 annual (unless they changed it), plus 50k Chase UR bonus points, which is a solid program.
  12. Had this the other night. I’ve been really impressed with pretty much every Tupps beer I’ve tried.
  13. Cracked a bottle of 2015 Deschutes Abyss Reserve last night (the BBA/WBA blend) as a precursor to a heart healthy meal. (28 day dry aged prime strips my dad brought in town, salt & vinegar crispy potatoes, and roasted radishes with lemon brown butter) Damn tasty beer/evening and a great reminder that I need to work through my “cellar” (aka pantry) stock.
