  1. The players seem to love Rodney Terry as well, oh the most familiar Horn basketball player of all-time seems fond of him too. Rick was a good coach, like I mentioned earlier both parties needed fresh starts. Rick rebooted his career and who knows what the future holds for Texas. With several portal additions and the incoming class Texas could very well make some noise next season, especially downgrading competition. https://www.heartlandcollegesports.com/2024/03/26/dylan-disu-says-rodney-terry-saved-basketball-for-him/
  2. I'm pulling for Rick Barnes to win it all. I never had any hard feelings towards the guy, both the university and Rick needed fresh starts. Things didn't work out with Shaka, but Rick has had a respectable run with the Vols.
  3. Straight up ass kicking. Wouldn't expect anything less from a Shaka coached team in the post season. He had the most favorable match ups of any seeded team to reach the Elite 8 and it looks as if he's gonna fall short. All he had to do was defeat a 15 seed, 10 seed and 11 seed.
  4. Terry accomplished more in his first full season than Shaka did in six. He's got a Top 10 recruitment class lined up and will bring in some extra help via the portal. Give the guy a chance. It was a disappointing end to the season narrowly missing out on the Sweet 16, but at one point it didn't even look as if the team had a shot at the tourney. Losing Allen, Carr, Bishop and Rice hurt, they were key components to last season's success. While this season wasn't a great season, it definitely wasn't disastrous.
  5. Marquette has the easiest road to the Elite 8. If Shaka can't even reach the Sweet 16 he should go ahead and resign because he's committing robbery with what Marquette is paying him. All he has to do is beat a 10 seed to reach the Sweet 16 and an 11 or 14 seed to reach the Elite 8. I'll laugh hysterically if he loses to Colorado.
  6. Didn't Kentucky get smashed by the aggy twice this season? Obviously they were never very good.
  7. He was a fraud that made a name for himself off of one tourney run.
  8. Great news. If Texas beats UVA or CSU they'll have the benefit of being completely rolled by both of their most recent former coaches in one season and Barnes for the 2nd consecutive season as an added bonus.
  9. Honestly, the most frustrating player on the team is Hunter by leaps and bounds. He either puts up 20-30 points or does absolutely nothing.
  10. Impressive start to this game considering Abmas and Disu haven't caught on fire yet.
  11. I'm not writing RT off just quite yet. Who knows what could happen in the tourney. If Texas reached the Sweet 16 would that shut people up? Probably not by the looks of things here. hell, that'd qualify as the 2nd best season in the last 15 years of futility.
  12. There should be enough Q1 wins to get into the tourney. Another win against Baylor and it's a lock, a loss to Baylor and a win against OU and a win in the first round of the B12 tourney should do it as well.
  13. How far does Shaka make it in the tourney? One and done? 2nd round? By the grace of God does he somehow luck out and finally reach the Sweet 16 for the 2nd time in his 15 years of coaching?
  14. Hunter is all over the place. The guy puts up 20 points or does absolutely nothing. Is it wrong if I pray for him to declare and follow through with it?
  15. Unfortunately that was the one good shot at snagging a win from Houston, they're a lot tougher on their home court. Close game.
  16. After tonight victories over #4, #11 and #15. Get your popcorn ready.
  17. Texas pulls off the upset this evening.
  18. If Flowers didn't try to extend over the goal line and focused on ball security then Baltimore would be playing for the win. You have a loaded backfield I'm sure they could punch it in with 4 attempts from what would've been less than a yard.
  19. Lamar is the James Harden of the NFL. He'll string together numerous regular season performances and when the playoffs roll around he'll always shit the bed.
  20. I don't understand why Baltimore completely abandoned what made their offense work? They are flat out refusing to run the ball.
  21. Baltimore's defense has played well, especially with how long they've been on the field. Baltimore's inept offense has blown this winnable game.
  22. Gooooooooooooooo Ravenssssssssssssssssss!
  23. That's not very PC of you, bro. This is a wholesome, family friendly environment so maybe you should cut it the fuck out and take your ass to church in the morning and repent for your sins.
