  1. If you like mid century ranch with decent sized lots, you are in luck. Most homes have been updated, good mix of starter families and empty nesters. Great for convenient access to most things in Fort Worth. Some sketchier areas on the edges/near the apartments, but overall quality neighborhood
  2. Anybody know of a good butcher/meat market. Not some gourmet fancy place like The Meat Board (and I love eating there, just trying to avoid paying $40 for a tri-tip)
  3. I got the letter in the mail too and usually can Hillsdale crap. It did surprise me as Sajak has done a good job of keeping his batshit crazy side gig out of the public eye until now
  4. For lunch I would say Luciles or Lili's. Avoid Reata, it has has really gone down which is sad. Don Artemio is overpriced for lunch, Maria's is the better bet. Have heard good things about Quince too
  5. If you are still looking check out El Jefe. They are booked up but might give you a reputable recommendation
  6. Outside of the price point but Rimowa is far superior to Tumi. Tumi is not the same product it was 10 years ago. If in Ft Worth, the two stores are in walking distance at Clear Fork and you can make the comparison yourself.
  7. I stopped in once and it was good and quick, actually busy with good mix of people eating there too.
  8. I don't get why Eva Guzman didn't get more support from that crowd in the last election. She literally screamed in her commercials about how her parents were murdered by illegals, she married a cop, and had bigger balls than Paxton. I would think the GOP money base would love her
  9. Milquetoast is the anglicized version which is more appropriate as it is even more pussified
  10. Her lawyer was snubbed too, his performance was awesome
  11. Take your cards to a local card shop and they can estimate the base level value (sorry but I don't know the exact lingo). They can then recommend if it is worth grading and guide you through the process
  12. I also don't have a thing for fat, ugly, pasty redheads, but god bless the guys that do. That's why they make fords and chevys (or Dodges in Shiv's case)
  13. Tavern is always a good choice and especially for brunch
  14. Went to Poop Deck last year and everything was bad. For the circle , Purple Frog! They also have a weekend brunch with big $3 bloody Mary's and mimosas and a great menu
  15. Also have one at Ye old Bull and Bush
  16. He was hospitalized in the 80s and tried to kill himself. Alas, he failed Texas yet again
  17. Dan Patrick fucked up his own suicide, twice
  18. Because aggies comprise the 3% of the population who decide the Republican primary. Now it makes sense, aggy is the reason our state is becoming a shitshow
  19. I'm in Fort Worth, but looking for a rear bench seat, bikini top, trim kit, and rear spare tire holder
  20. What is the best source/site for old (80s era parts and add ons? Currently rehabbing my Grandads 82 Scrambler
  21. My boys (age 7&9) got interested last summer. Their uncle gave them his cards from 80s-90s, which included around 90 Nolan Ryan and lots of Michael Jordans. Love that they are getting to know the old guys as well. Bought my oldest a Hank Aaron card from 71 for his birthday, poor condition but it's his favorite player.
  22. Went to Helen's once. Was told to wait 10-15 minutes for the chicken. I did, but not worth the wait. Lisa's or Popeyes can get you the same right away. For outstanding fried chicken, go to Drew's
  23. Count me in too. Trying to find Sakos for my sons
  24. Anyone have experience with Lucchese benchmade/custom recently? My wife won a huge gift card with them and trying to decide what to get.
  25. We live 5 minutes from there (Ridgmar). Great neighborhood. Roy Pope really wants to build that neighborhood vibe. You are convenient to everything and would recommend
