  1. A good friend of my son's is a middle distance guy for UT. Are we that far behind A&M that we're not an option? Look at indoor, that appears to be the case. Same for outdoor?
  2. I can't quite wrap my head around two amps driving a common speaker, with variable outputs on each. Can one amp drive against the other?
  3. Maybe it depends on the wording, but Hermine made landfall in NE Mexico and wreaked havoc in central Texas. My home in Austin suffered $20K of damage due to rain-caused flooding.
  4. Seems like different colored knobs should be an option, too. White/black/chrome etc.
  5. Brave Aggies at Guadalcanal. Oh wait, there's a 0.5% chance there's an actual Aggie in the photo.
  6. It's kinda funny that the "hired an agent" thing is still an issue when guys are legitimately making $100K's to $1M's of dollars per year. Oh, NCAA, you do you.
  7. I thought he was a patent/IP guy? Have I been on Planet Xenon all this time? (Nobody answer that.)
  8. Dumb question in these weird times: on the off chance Mitchell gets drafted, would he be ineligible for college ball, or would that be agent-related (and why, given NIL)?
  9. I'm pretty sure whatever the cost of excavating an acre-foot of topsoil is, it's 10X that much at the bottom of a lake.
  10. Die Spitz. Primarily drums, but rhythm guitar + vocals on a few songs she writes. Their music is everywhere, easy to find.
  11. You'd think he'd be a little more careful driving, given his history in car accidents.
  12. Part of it seems to be the idea that it's an illegal campaign contribution, as he didn't want her running her mouth right before the election.
  13. He has us 2-1 against the Pokes. Thinking of OU? I swear the predictions have already changed since originally posted.
  14. The similarity between Lukas' voice and Willie's voice always amazes me. So cool.
  15. Well, it's a flood control lake. LCRA will release water for levels above certain thresholds IF the downstream lakes can handle it. That doesn't mean Travis is "overflowing" when the floodgates are open. Regardless, more capacity (at whatever cost) would mean lower water levels for any specific event, which in a sense exacerbates the current issues of marina/dock access in low water environments.
  16. I for one support the idea of a deeper lake that never gets to the water level it might have otherwise achieved. I bet all those marinas and waterfront homeowners would be thrilled with permanent rocks and random grass for their lakefront view & use.
  17. Hard to believe we'd sweep TCU, or take 2 of 3 in Norman. Then again, it's also hard to believe we'd get swept at UCF.
  18. He definitely was handed some talent.
  19. My buddy bought one of these at a pawn shop last year, except it was sort of a purple color. It sounded . . . not good. Looked cool, like it had been stored in the back of a Chevy shaggin' wagon van circa 1974:
