I love Chris Stapleton's tone, and there are similarities across multiple guitars.  Can someone identify these amps from SNL last night?  I think he's driving both rigs, his rhythm guitarist (off on screen left) was standing in front of a couple of combo amps himself.  I assume those were his.  I see a Matchless head driving two small cabinets and a couple of small Fender combos -- any model info out there?

    Chris Stapleton '62 Princeton Amp

After years of looking for the right amp, Chris Stapleton came across a ’62 Princeton in a guitar shop. Listen to his story about how his continued search for these amps led to the Chris Stapleton Signature ’62 Princeton.

No bass player last night so improvised an acoustic session. It was actually a pretty productive thing to try and work out acoustic arrangements for our songs, I dug it more than I anticipated.

  3. Damn Quails Bryon White small venue last evening...had no idea he was that good of a player. Awesome singer/front man...a seamless 2 hour show. The Montego Black telecaster's tone and crunch had my full attention. Just great musicianship at all 4 spots. Unbelievable keyboardist, flawless bass & percussion. Gabe Marshall was not with them & no fiddle or steel. Would love to see em full roster but last night it didn't matter...catch em when you can. Best 16 buck ticket that I can recall.

Yeah I’m not against simple - I mean really the hd-28 has very little embellishment and one of my favorite guitars is the ooo-15m. I feel like $2500 is where you start with all solid traditional tone woods, $3k is where you start talking about premium exotic tone woods, and $4k is where you’re getting into the “shiny” conversation. Although browsing the catalogue, maybe that’s 5.

I suppose I’m thinking about this in the way they want people to stop thinking about this, but sustainable is typically also economical? I’m down with richlite but I don’t want to pay ebony prices for it.

Martin does of course have a lot if 3 piece back experience with the 35. What is the flagship Taylor guitar? Or I guess, the flagship concert body Taylor? Would he really interested to play these side by side.

    Maybe the Taylor 814CE ?

I'll put it through it's paces once I get home. I almost pulled the trigger on the 50's with the bucker and the maple neck, but then I saw the 60's in shell pink with the same configuration and it was a no-brainer.

    Roasted?
