  1. White Freightliner Blues -TVZ. King of the Road - Roger Miller I've been to a Georgia on a Fast Train - Billie Joe Shaver. Road to Nowhere - Talking Heads Roadrunner - Bo Diddly And for the way home… I Wanna Go Home - Van Morrison, Lonny Donegan, Chris Barber.
  2. NBA scouting report from SI for Mark is below. This will be his last year in college. He’s improved his 3 pt percentage. He’s a take. In terms of his game, Mark is an off-ball guard with a high motor. He makes hustle plays and is a really good rebounder for his position. He has a strong frame and really uses it to his advantage on both ends. Mark is disruptive in passing lanes on the defensive end and gives good effort.
  3. I like the message Texas is sending. If you can’t perform at the quality you’re being compensated for, then it’s time to move on and we’ll get somebody who can.
  4. TJ was always a good ft shooter. He went 78% as a freshman to 82% as a sophomore. He was a bad 3 point shooter (15% and 25.5%) but hit them at critical times. I’m Aldridge hurt his hip and had surgery before his freshman year ended. He spent the summer sitting on a stool and working on his shot.
  5. if Terry gives us one first round ncaa tourney win per year for the next 3 years and a mediocre regular season will Texas fire him?
  6. On this rewatch, I’m enjoying the smaller moments. Avon and D visit Avon’s brother in the public hospital. D doesn’t want to be there and doesn’t take in the wisdom of… .and how you ain't never gonna be slow, never be late?
  7. Who would you add at midfield instead? Acosta, oh wait we’re playing indoors.
  8. Sargent, De La Torre injured. Wright, Aaronson added. Nice to have both of the additions score over the weekend.
  9. Zendejas. His confidence was nil during the gold cup.
  10. It’s my Christmas. Now that kids are grown and we don’t go away for spring break, I take Thursday and Friday off. Toke up before doing a swim in the spring fed rivers in the mornings and then make a nice breakfast before games begin.
  11. Score! I bought this on iTunes many years ago and then my Mac video card went dead and the email I had was no longe with in memory bank. I signed on to Apple TV TV to check out the free offer and The Wire, Party Down and Breaking Bad are available without having to sign in for the free offer. Watch an episode from season 1 and then top it off with a PD episode.
  12. Kicking and Screaming. It had nothing to do with soccer.
  13. It’s a Disaster. Directed by Tex-ex Todd Berger. End of times comedy about dysfunctional couples. Pretty good although a misstep with David Cross’ role at the end.
  14. Philippe Noiret playing Pablo Neruda, soundtrack by Luis E Baclov, a dying performance by Massimo Troisi and Maria Grazia Cucinotta. Eskimos Horn’s posted photo is reason enough.
  15. Hoop Dreams. Eight Men Out. Friday Night Lights. Raging Bull. Miracle. No particular order. There’s a lot of good ones to consider.
  16. The Kinks - Village Green Preservation Society. Return to a simpler life The Who - Quadrophenia. A Mod teen tries to figure his place in life.
  17. Texas scored 2 points from 13:14 to 4:21. That’s the reason for losing. Teams don’t win games with that kind of scoring drought in the second half.
  18. Moseley will do well at Villanova and he’s already a complete basketball player.
  19. The women are playing direct and up 3-0 on Colombia. Is this only on ESPN+ in Spanish?
  20. It was a game you didn’t want either team to lose because it was so much fun watching them play.
  21. ^Too many to choose from in this movie. ^3:29 is when the women speak alone.
  22. Wow. The Wylie East Coyotes have come a long way. Fort Bend Clements is undefeated and has the Akeem brothers plus a seven footer who is 195 lbs.
