  1. Never seen someone so proud to be a bad cook.
  2. Probably the weirdest and most visually striking movie I’ve seen since The Lighthouse. Didn’t think Emma Stone’s character or performance really took off till her character’s maturation into exploring what a person is, especially the final quarter of the movie.
  3. Alright, let’s get off the snide tomorrow.
  4. I know I know. But for me, these game threads are where I react in the moment, even if I know it's irrational.
  5. Not panicking... just extremely dissatisfied with this sloppy and languid start, lol.
  6. Yikes, you hope a veteran team like this can get its act together soon... come on Tuve, tie it up
  7. Welp at least he didn't strike out
  8. I believe there's a valid debate around how DEI programs are designed, implemented, and measured in various organizations. Problem is it often means different things in differnt orgs from a university (no standards there either!) to private organizations. Sure, post George Floyd we got a surge of token programs popping up everywhere but that was a watershed moment in the history of this country. But to paint it as somehow discrimination against white people is just lazy thinking.
  9. Having Jordan on the travel show is a must.
  10. It’s amazing even with the sustained excellence, I still default to thinking no way the Astros are this good right?!
  11. As an Apple employee, fuck the DOJ! But as a consumer, some of what DOJ raises is legit but some are already outdated due to EU regulations.
  12. From the show’s landing page you should see a category labeled behind the scenes.
  13. The behind the scene vignettes are also really interesting
  14. I would buy a R2 right now if it was in inventory. Damn the wait...
  15. As an article I saw recently puts it, Apple TV has cornered the market on prestige dad tv.
  16. I took ~9% pay cut. Tech. Will evaluate again in 3-5 years if I want to stay in TX, especially if I'm able to transition to a full time remote position. Just appreciative that I'm still employed. Also it's amusing why it's so hard for some to recognize that lots of immigrants are still willing to move here for economic opportunites and that our GOP-led state government is horribad?
  17. Buddy in Toronto snagging me tix for the July series. Who else is going to that one?
