  1. The 12th spot is between Kawhi, Paul George, Paolo, Brunson, and Bridges, with Kawhi as the favorite, per Chams. I'd pick Paul George since he's an excellent two-way big wing who's a great spot up three point shooter, and who doesn't really have a weakness Chet should be in play if Embiid drops out, which he should considering he struggled to finish the NBA season. Of course, Kerr could pick Draymond over Chet, but Chet would be an excellent fit Bridges was thought to have been a lock previously, but too many elite players are playing Paolo will probably feel mislead if he doesn't make this team after choosing US over Italy, but his time will come
  2. Another guy who's in the second round range. Very skilled, but below average measurables and has some medicals

    2024 NFL DRAFT

He's not a typical draft guy, but Schrager is pretty connected

    2024 NFL DRAFT

I would look at it the other way; the betting market from a book with two-way betting action like Circa is likely more accurate than a random mock draft

    16.5- Murphy 17.5- Mitchell 28.5- Worthy 50.5- Sanders 56.5- Brooks
  6. You'd think they'd be more OZ heavy if that's the case
  7. There's also a chance that Houston gets jumped and picks 10th
  8. Added a few more names (Morgan, Kneeland, Phillips, Jerrell)
  9. If you have a 1% odds of winning a lottery and you buy 1,000,000 tickets, your odds of winning don't remain 1%
  10. The one bad trade made under Morey.. of course, it wasn't his call. I think Tildo learned from that one
  11. Brugler mentioned him as a darkhorse first rounder
  12. This sentiment will be short lived after Texas’s success this upcoming season, imo They’ll be back to impatient and irrational Auburn west in no time
  13. Vecenie has Petraitis at #45 on his portal rankings, fwiw
  14. If Houston keeps the pick this year, it turns into a 2nd rounder in 2025 because *OKC has swap rights for Houston's 2025 1st round pick (top ten protected) * Houston also has swap rights with Brooklyn in 2025. If the Houston pick is outside of the top 10, OKC gets the best of Houston, OKC, and LAC, and Houston gets the 2nd best, while LAC the worst, and then Houston can swap that pick with Brooklyn's (which should be the worst of the bunch). If it's within the top 10, Houston can simply swap with Brooklyn if their pick is better. The 2025 draft is viewed as strong at the top (primarily due to Cooper Flagg, but there are also others), which is where Houston has another shot at getting their all NBA type that they might not currently have

I thought the background bio stuff on Texas's prospects in Brugler's guide was good

  17. Quick mock draft through their 4th round picks 42- Michael Hall Jr (Ohio State DT) 59- Javon Bullard (Georgia S) 86- Christian Mahogany (Boston College OL) 122- Ray Davis (Kentucky RB) 126- Jaylin Simpson (Auburn S)
  18. Updating the 30 visits list. "Local visits" which are either prospects who went to high school or college in the area don't count against the 30. I'm including the "local visits" who reportedly visited solo with the 30 visits, while I'm putting those who did a Texans local camp in italics because I think that shows a slightly lesser form of interest from Houston
  19. I don't think forecasting the ends of future drafts is a particularly accurate exercise. At best you can maybe have an idea of who some of the super blue chips are A consolidation trade could make sense, or they could just draft their picks
