  1. I don't understand why people are expecting Kevin Durant to become NBA's best player like in 16/17 & 17/18. Or at least coming anywhere near close to be a top 10 player in the league. For people who think that he's guaranteed to succeed since he's a good shooter, keep in mind that that Achilles injuries affect your shooting. The reason why Durant is capable to shoot over player is due to elite guard handles. And because Durant was ridiculously explosive as a 7-footer, the opposing teams were forced to put shorter players on him with adequate lateral quickness. If Durant retains his shooting but loses a step or two, teams can just stick bigs on him. Which negates Durant height advantage.
  2. Previously, I mentioned only Shaq as probably the only insecure superstar/star player. I actually take it back. Both Shaq & Durant have a lot of insecurity competition just from this millennium. Terrell Owens, Dwight Howard, Alex Rodriguez, AJ Pierzienski, Big Baby Glen Davis, Mario Chalmers, John Rocker. Keyshawn Johnson. Kobe still creeps me out because he's such a phony, but that dude was insanely insecure back when he was obsessed with Shaq, obsessed with mimicking Michael Jordan, trying to become a conscious rapper doing a song called K.O.B.E. with Tyra Banks at the All Star game. All before his chilling Kobe Doin Work personality transplant, his political vetting like transformation where now he acts exactly like OJ Simpson before OJ killed 2 people We have been blessed with some crazy insecurity and some outstandingly prolific diva behavior. Even Durant has never directly projected his sexuality issues and called his team captain gay because if it look like a rat and smell like a rat, by golly he gay. Durant never done sit ups shirtless in his driveway on ESPN. Or wore sunglasses indoors while producing actual tears with an astonishingly fake "that's my teammate..." acting performance. Terrell Owens is untouchable as far as insecure athletes in my lifetime. He came 10 years too early to appreciate what an insecure attention hog he was. That dude would have a billion Instagram followers if 2004-2005 Terrell Owens time machined to 2015.
  3. Eh, Durant is probably not even the most sensitive superstar in NBA history. Shaquille O'Neal would make KD look like someone with thick skin in comparison.
