So if the B1G takes UNC & Virg. And the SEC takes FSU & Clemson. Then the Big12 cherry picks the ACC. So here's a first look at the final three conferences.

    Three guys from Belmont?

This is his scouting report on 247.

"He’s most effective when he’s able to operate in space, whether that be in the open floor or attacking a close-out. He’s a dangerous shooter off the dribble and while he can make tough threes, his favorite spots are in the mid-range area. He can pull-up over top of contesting defenders, step-back to create some space, and even bring smaller defenders into the mid-post and operate with his back to the basket."

Sounds like Michael Jordan to me

I think grabbing Brandon Garrison from OSU would be a great start to portal szn. Great size, athleticism, can rebound and defend. His biggest issue is he couldn't stay out of foul trouble this year, but as a freshman that isn't super concerning long term.

Also have no offensive game.   If he and Mitchell are out there the defense would only have to defend three guys at best

Really hoping RT learns that you can have skilled and athletic players taller than 6'3. I'm indifferent to Hunter leaving or not but we already have to portal in an entire frontcourt minus Shedrick's minutes. Would welcome Mitchell leaving, he's not gonna learn how to dribble/pass/shoot over the offseason. The bozos at 247 put Arturo Dean as a potential guy for us because what we need after seeing our guards unable to get past longer/athletic defenders is a 5'9 "defensive-minded" PG that can't shoot.

So that’s the good thing. Next years freshmen and Pryor are all pretty long.   Issue is we need a pg, short or long.

How dare he criticizes RT's coaching decisions! Letting Hunter play so many minutes and inbound when he kept turning the ball over was the definition of insanity.

So there’s a difference.  He’s calling out Rodney with data and facts. Some of the haters on here are saying Rodney can’t speak good English and is disorganized.  See the difference?

gerry also calls out the players for their play too

AAS said they asked each player with eligibility left if they are coming back

Weaver: said he is coming back

Chris Johnson: said he is coming back

Devon Pryor: said he is coming back

Shedrick: said he is coming back

    Onyema: Did not comment

Mitchell: wasn’t available for comment but said previously he will likely “undergo the NBA evaluation process”

    Hunter: Same as Mitchell

Need a true og next year.  We will be much bigger in the backcourt with Johnson and Scott

I can’t be entirely mad about this season. From a Texas Men’s Basketball historical perspective it’s probably in the 60th percentile of seasons I’ve watched. Beat the Sooners twice, Baylor once, and sent thousands of Tech fans home disappointed in the last game we’ll play in Lubbock. Then a win in the NCAAT. Not bad by our standards for the sport.

The future, however, does not seem to be on an upward trajectory. Let’s see what the portal brings and resume the discussion this time next year.

Last night was ugly.  Some of that is absolutely on Rodney
