  1. That is slick, nice job by the wifey.
  2. As noted by NoName and a couple of others, Cuero will have new boots on November 15th. They just messaged me and said "We are glad to announce that we are launching our new collection on November 15!" Ladies boots will be available after the new year. Don't forget to add it to your cart and wait a couple of days. They will send you a discount for the boots in your cart. I own many pairs of boots from multiple companies and the Cuero boots are easily the most comfortable to me. I will gladly buy another pair. Side note about some Wolverine boots I own. I have a pair of waterproof rancher boots from them for nearly two years now that have been great. A couple of weeks ago the liner came loose from the left boot and I struggled to get my foot out. No problem, I'll just glue them back and go about my day. Before I glued them, I thought I would chat with Wolverine to see if they had a glue or something they recommend to fix it. The girl on the Facebook chat (on a Sunday) was very nice and told me to fill out a warranty claim. I explained the boots were almost 2 years old and passed the 1 year warranty. She said to fill it out anyway and they would look at it. 2 hours later they email me and apologize for the issue with my boot and tell me to select 3 styles of boots that I would be willing to accept as a replacement. I was completely surprised by this and sent in my choices. An hour later another email comes in and tells me that they are sending me one of the models I selected at no cost and apologized again for the issue I had with my boot. 4 days later my new boots arrived. Incredible customer service from them. tldr: problem with old Wolverine boot, got new pair for free just for reaching out.
  3. Watching it now on a friend's Plex server. No way was I going to pay $30 to watch this with my boys. Checked my buddies server and it was there. My 8 year old likes it so far, 5 year old not into it yet.
  4. I picked up TC tonight for me and my two boys 8 and 5. Chicken flautas with the queso were excellent. Ordered a beef fajita burrito for myself and found out they aren't making burritos. What the fuck, no burritos? Ended up with the steak fajita quesadilla. It was good, but no burrito. Grabbed a bean and cheese as a last second panic order and it slammed. Oh yeah, bought 6 $2 margs for day drinking tomorrow. Each marg came with a little bottle of Margaritaville tequila taped to it. Threw them in the freezer for safe keeping. All in all, TC hit the spot tonight!

Thanks for the rec, I ordered one off of amazon and it works great! Late nights in the pool have been extra relaxing.
  6. Not convinced he would have destroyed Holyfield, Lewis, etc. in his prime. Tyson didn't knock out several guys in his prime that were no where close to the skill set of Lewis and Holyfield. A prime Tyson vs. a prime Lewis would have been epic! The size and skill of Lewis and the ferocity of Tyson are what boxing dreams are made of. Holyfield easily whooped Tyson twice (head butts included) and with that style would have always given Mike fits. All that being said, he would have always had a chance with that power and speed.
  7. Very intimating, lots of tomato cans early and late in his career. Lots of late hits after the bell. Small window of dominance against inferior opponents, struggled against the world class guys like Holyfield and Lewis. Lost a lot of his prime to jail. Terrible end to his career. All in all he was a good heavyweight, but not close to the best.

My wife was nice enough to bring me back some 500mg cartridges from her trip to Vail. Problem is I always get the disposable pens when I travel and don't have a reusable vape. I know nothing about what I need to buy to use these cartridges. Can you guys show me or tell me what I need to buy so I can enjoy these? I appreciate the help! This is one of the items she got.
  10. Supposedly a slight chance this Sunday here in Austin according to our rarely right weather people.
  11. Scary stuff. Glad you guys are ok. I posted early in this thread as JohnnyShotgun. After a year of not being able to log in I just changed my name. Anyway, glad to be back on Surly. It's thread like this one that has a ton of good info. Man, I could go for a margarita from Monkey Business right about now!
  12. Better or worse than Narcos Mexico? Consider it an incredible side piece to Narcos Mexico. It is a documentary series that delves into the kidnapping, torture and murder of DEA Agent,Kiki Camarena. It was shockingly good to me. The information that comes out in this piece was mind blowing! I won't spoil anything here, but you guys need to watch it. I'll probably watch it again to really grasp what I learned from this series.
  13. Yes they are. Lots of boot companies down there. That is where the Cuero boots are made too.
  14. Can't vouch for that site, but I own a pair of El General real alligator boots. They are very similar to the ones in the picture. Ended up getting drunk one night at my favorite Mexican place and my waitress' husband was a boot dealer. We had a great time drinking and talking and he let me order whatever I wanted at his cost. I guess I have owned them for 10 years or so and they are well made.
  15. My crew and I showed up Wednesday right before 5. There was already 8 or so people in line to order. Took a bit to get to the front, but we killed time with beers. Got to the front and they said enchiladas were going to be at least a two hour wait. Took a chance and ordered a plate, (they had no more beans and rice), added double cheeseburger, chili cheese fries and a club sandwich. Had a couple more beers and then the burger, fries and sandwich came out. Everything was on point and as good as I remembered. Not long later, the enchiladas came out and they were perfection. We enjoyed every bite and just hanging out drinking beers. I'm a Mac grad and an Austin lifer, so I am really going to miss that place. Lots of good times there. New Austin can fuck right off. Sorry no pics, I wasn't thinking.
