  1. Better yet, buy them but don't tell her. Make one, stick it in a Starbucks bag and tell her you stopped and got her one.
  2. My wife will name a restaurant that went out of business 2 years ago.
  3. So you knew you'd always be a lawyer?
  4. That's only for outlets controlled by a light switch so you'll know that they are. Unless you're using metal trim plates (like in a hospital) and are worried the plate will come loose and drop down on the plug as it's going in or out and short. Otherwise, it doesn't matter.
  5. There are websites devoted to explainng how this can happen. I've already seen some suggested on FB.
  6. What a dumbass. The shoulder shove probably gets overlooked but then throwing the ball down while looking down at him was stupid.
  7. BTW- that guy was found Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity 3 years later and put in a hospital. Dennis Miller had the right idea: "Oh, you were crazy when you killed them? Fine. We'll fry you in a clown suit."
  8. Is the death penalty flawed in its current execution? Yes. Are there times when maybe an innocent person was executed? Probably. Is the death penalty way too expensive when we can just lock them up and throw away the key until they die off of old age? Sure. Should the death penalty be abolished? No. Despite all the problems, costs, etc, there are times when we just need to kill the fucker. Like this guy: (Don't read it if you can't handle it. Deals with the death of a special needs child.) http://www.cnn.com/2011/CRIME/08/15/louisiana.child.killing/index.html That guy does not need to breathe air anymore. He confessed. He did it. Take him out back and put a bullet in his brain. Cheap. Easy. I'd be hard pressed not to just throw him in a pen with a bunch of hungry crocs or gators and let them eat him alive. That kind of piece of shit doesn't need to be sitting in a jail cell for 60 years.
  9. Pretty sure that's called "hot-wifing", but your probably going to tell us in great detail how hotwife and voluntary cuckold relationships are just one degree in the spectrum of ENM, instead of a wife who wants to enjoy extra dick while her husband waits at home or watches. Most people I've known who do this were socially-inept late bloomers and didn't have any or very little sexual experience before meeting and starting a relationship with their main partner who may have been their first sexual partner. Then one of them (usually the woman) starts thinking about what they missed out on by not having multiple playmates and the main guy (also usually socially inept and inexperienced and not wanting to lose this woman) talk and agree to open it up. The guy doesn't find anyone usually because he's happy with what he's got. The woman gets on some dating apps and meets some guys who want to fuck her (because she's got a pussy). She spends more time with one new guy and brings up the idea of polyamory to the old guy. New guy ends up moving in and they live as a throuple. Woman spends more time with new guy because he's new, and old guy either deals with it or gets upset. Most of these relationships don't last long - less than 5 years - because one person will eventually feel neglected. The ones that do are when the woman wants the 3rd to be another woman (bi tendencies) and the main woman sleeps with both but the man and new woman don't. Neither feel as threatened of being replaced by the other partner. There was a story I read a while back of a husband and wife in an ENM relationship with another guy who lived with them. She already had a kid with the husband. She wanted to get pregnant by the new guy and didn't want the baby born out of wedlock so she divorced her husband and married the new guy before the baby was born. They all three still lived together with now 2 kids. Seems fucked up for the kids, especially the one who now has divorced parents. What happens if she gets pregnant by the 1st guy again? And yes, almost every gay couple I know - including my best friend's relationship - are often going to parties or clubs or vacations or cruises and hooking up with whomever they can find. Every time I hear one of those stories or see pictures he took I just shake my head.
  10. Just pull around to police HQ and start laying on the horn.
  11. Reminds me of a story one of my old tech teachers told us: He was working for a major manufacturing company and they had a site-wide employee meeting to go over new site policies and address employee concerns. One old guy got up and asked when they were going to fix the toilet in the downstairs bathroom. Management was confused because they hadn't heard anyone else mention a problem with said toilet and asked what the problem was. "The water level is too high. When you sit down, your balls are in the water." There were quite a lot of laughs, and lots of people had to stop by to check the water level because nobody else had that problem.
  12. Someone need to write an aggy AI. I'd bet an Artificial aggy would sound and read exactly like the real thing.
  13. I talk to the police so the DA doesn't have to.
  14. Ok, I'm low on sleep and gonna ramble for a bit: Just make it pay based on wins. Nothing for losses. QB gets paid $2M/win. If they go 17-0 then win the Super Bowl, he gets $40M. If he goes 0-17, he gets a bus ticket home. Using that formula, Dak would've made $24M this year. Christian McCaffrey is set to be paid almost $12M next year. So make a RB's pay $525k/game. That gives him $6.3M so far this year. Tyreek Hill is set to be paid $30M per year. Is that a good cap for WRs? Seems high. That would make it $1.3m per win. At 11 wins, he makes $14.3M this year. Do the same for every position based on what the most elite player would get. Maybe keep a league minimum of $750k/year so people can have families. No "incentives" like number of yards or catches or sacks. The QB can hand it off 70 times in a row and he gets paid as long as they win. Your reward for playing well is you get paid. Your punishment for screwing up, turning the ball over, etc, is you don't. Do the same for the coaching staff. Players will have a bigger drive to actually win and will be held accountable by their teammates. Coaches will have to prepare better and will be held accountable by their players. No more playing for draft picks if every game affects your bank account. Fuck it.
  15. Newsflash: most restaurants (and food trucks) do nothing to keep your food hot while waiting for a delivery person to show up, and many delivery people don't use insulated bags to keep it hot (or cold) while they drive the 20+ minutes to your house because you weren't paying attention and order from the wrong location instead of the one close to your house. I don't do it much anymore, but the former food manager in me used to hate showing up at a restaurant and seeing bags of food just sitting on a counter or a rack with no heat lamps or anything. Who knows how long it's been there? I once picked up from Mod Pizza on 360 and the pizza box was just sitting on a counter completely cold. I asked them to remake it and they refused, so I took it and texted the customer about what was going on abs they still bitched at me for the cold pizza even though I put it in an insulated bag as soon as I got it. And y'all need to quit ordering shakes from Hopdoddy when you live 20+ minutes away. It's not going to still be frozen when it gets there, even in a bag.
  16. Yep. Would sometimes take the wife and kids to Applebee's or Chili's because it was close by at the time and I knew they had something the kids would eat. Appetizer, 4 meals, dessert, non-alcoholic drinks - the bill with tip would be $75‐85. The last time we went with the same type of ordering and the bill with tip was $110‐120. Even the "cheaper" places are becoming not so cheap anymore. There's a steak place in Giddings we sometimes drive out to because they have a drink my wife really likes. Used to cost about $135 with tip (several alcoholic drinks included). Now it's over $200. Stopping at Whataburger happening more often.
  17. It's the greatest lie women ever tell - that they were going to initiate some sex act later but because you pissed them off they aren't going to do it now. Narrator: They were never going to do anything later even if you did everything right.
  18. I might have mentioned this in the thread on the old site: Back in the early 90s pre-internet days when you actually needed a phone number to use your 1200 baud modem to dial into a BBS, I would chat or play text-based games with a bunch of anonymous people (maybe 20 at a time, max) and flirt with several ladies. I was in my early 20's fresh out of the Air Force. One particular young woman took a horny liking to me and wanted me to come to a party one of the guys was throwing at his apt off 51st street for that BBS' users. I went, met a bunch of people including the guy, met the chick and eventually left with her and fucked her. There were a few other get-togethers to play pool or whatever, and I hooked up with that chick several times. The guy who had the party at his apt? James Noer, the guy who killed the Red Rose dancer in 1991-92.
  19. My wife tells me, "You are my Google."
  20. Yep. After 3 unanswered texts, 2 unanswered calls, and a "Find My Phone" app that plays a constant noise even if on silent yields no results, I just pick one. When she finally texts or calls while I'm pulling out of the parking lot I tell her, "You're too late. I got (this one). If you don't like it you can go back to the store or learn how to answer your phone." It really pisses me off because of the last point. She'll text me about something that I can't answer without more info. I immediately ask for the info I need so I can answer her question. No response for 30+ minutes. She literally (literally) texted me less than 30 seconds ago and apparently threw her phone out the window like it was a live grenade and started running the other direction.
