yeah. Texas went after Gibson very early and was on him the whole cycle instead of focusing on guys like Kedren Young (ND), Caden Durham (LSU) or James Peoples (tOSU)

it's dumb. you should identify and recruit top talent wherever they are from, not exclusively in Texas. this isn't 2003 with Mack Brown.

ketch probably thinks we should have taken Reuben Owens over CJ Baxter too lol... what a joke

Listened to about 2 mins. Apparently we're not signing enough of the top-25 in-state players.

yeah i skimmed through some of it..  the part that made me exit out of it was him bringing up how in Alabama, the top 10 players in '24 in state went to either Bama or Auburn.. something Sark NEEDS to do at UT..

I like how the class ended up outside DT recruiting.. which I now see some of Bo Davis flaws.. none of his high school players he selected have contributed.. and not sure how good Swanson, Bryant and Bledsoe (who was playing DE IIRC) are.

It's really starting to look like Saban had the hubris to believe as long as he announced that he would still be around the program (similar to what bag o' dicks Bob did when he passed the keys to little Lincoln) and have an office in the stadium that it wouldn't matter who Bama hired, and losses would be minimal. I don't think it's lack of faith in Deboer so much as it is knowing that it takes a new coaching staff 3-4 years on average to get things going...and nobody wants to be part of a painful rebuild.

Times have changed...a lot of these kids have agents and other outside people pointing out these things and giving advice. And yes that can even include the ones coming straight out of HS..especially if they're considered the #1 QB

Saban doesn't care, he's out.. and if KB flames into a dumpster, it only makes his legend status..even more legendary

Let me tell you something, I had a dream about this moment. Watching Quinn make sweet love to his bitch, Bama. Over the top on them...powerful throws...filling the sultry night air. Heavy breath. Our son Arch walked by, little boy, then Milwee sprung from the sidelines and said, "No, Arch. Leave!" I said "No, AJ. Shut your mouth, let him watch. Let him watch what is being consecrated here and I want the people to watch what is being consecrated here".  And I will bring Arch down here and he will watch. He will watch UT battling here. UT becoming one. Ok?

Yeah, I dont get the Lanning fellatio. He took over a team that was 12-2 &10-3 in Cristobal's last two full seasons (excluding 2020), and went 10-3 and 12-2. He's also  0-3 against Deboer/UW. He may be a good coach but I havent seen much from him yet as a HC that amazes me.

he's no sure thing but what established coach that checks all the boxes, wants to follow up the Greatest Coach ever in CFB?

If I had 72 hours and I’m just looking at body of work I at least interview Vrabel. I’d pick him over Lanning. But there is so much fascination with Lanning even though DeBoer is the better HC imo. But DeBoer probably wants to stay put. I just don’t think Lanning works out and I sure as shit wouldn’t want to follow Saban. The margin for error is nil.

I'm not sold on DeBoar.. especially at a place like Bama.  He doesn't seem to really care about recruiting either.

Lanning is young, full of energy.. seems like recruits, even if they choose to go elsewhere, like him a lot.  He will have growing pains but he at least has been on a staff with high expectations

I'll tell you what, a lot of 9.95 sites are thrilled that you just did all their work for them. I expect half these names to how up on a "Names I'm hearing" tweet or post in the next 24 hours.

That being said, I do legit appreciate the legwork. here.

Not unless we want to fire PK.

    just @ him ... rhymes with jail-pox

He kept Matt Canada around too long. That alone is a fireable offense but he won just enough to keep his job.

yep.. and this roster has his fingerprints all over it..  wow made the playoffs by beating a lamer-less ravens who also were resting other guys.  Beat Burrowless Bengals too, but lost to twice to 2 win teams ..back to back?

But hey, he's never had a losing record..so what he hasn't won a playoff game since 2016.. extend him :(

Should PK be wary about Nansen coming in as "co-" coordinator?

lol.. not taking a shot on you but my buddy texted me earlier asking the same thing....

.. cause he watched Anwar and Ketch on youtube and they were saying this lol
