  1. I look forward to the new wave of trolls hitting the board. That was always the most fun part.
  2. He is a good player, but he wasn't a guy at the top of the board. I understand him not wanting to wait around on Texas. Collective shrug and move on.
  3. Not every B12 school is that way. I always enjoyed the Ok State game, and even WVU was a fun one that I wouldn't mind seeing again. But I will immediately be pissed to see Houston, Baylor, TCU, or K State on our schedule ever again. There is just zero upside to a game with those teams. To a lesser degree Tech, but they have shown their ass so much over the last 3 years I would hope it doesn't happen for at least 20 years.
  4. What the hell is going on in here? How are we somehow arguing about two awesome catches in one of the biggest wins of the last 20 years?
  5. Not only did you run into one, but you ran into one who did the big reveal of his uniform that was expecting you to be taken aback with it's splendor. Then you shattered his world in one sentence and reminded him why he cries when he masturbates.
  6. Or Kansas/Kansas State depending on which way you are drawing lines. Maybe we can engage in gerrymandering and cut out TCU, Baylor, Houston, and SMU. I am sure they would understand.
  7. I really want to like this proposal, but at the same time I hate it just simply for the regionality aspect. I really don't want to have gone to all of the trouble of the SEC move and all associated ass pain just to wind back up in a "Texas/Oklahoma region" with the same group of teams we just left plus SMU and aggy.
  8. They don't call him the screech owl for nothing.
  9. This. I said earlier this week that Cook and Wingo are two different players. The guys who make splash plays like Wingo are always going to get the press, but the guy who can consistently give you 8 catches for 90 yards will win you games. Cook is the latter.
  10. They just want to keep our stank off of them. I completely understand.
  11. I will have you know sir that Charlie Strong literally combed the desert for the finest OC in the land. 247 told me so.
  12. I don't think there is any real mystery. We lost a high quality veteran to the NFL, we had Anthony Hill, a guy who has never seemed to put it all together in Gbenda, and a couple of redshirt freshmen/sophs with promise but not much experience. They wanted some veteran leadership in the room, and potentially some Gbenda insurance.
  13. In part, but he was also used as a space player and a guy they tried to get out on the edge. He was really good in the pony package as the second back. That is what he used to bust big plays versus Ok State in the B12 title game.
  14. Mukuba was played at slot last year after having a more promising run at Safety, where he projects in the NFL. He was less effective as a slot and I have heard that he is being used at Safety primarily so far.
  15. I think he has been forced to see the light on that, at least if reports are to be believed.
  16. I don't see how anyone could be bullish on their portal class. It is comprised of a bunch of sun belt and FCS guys to replace 4 and 5 stars. But it is low hanging fruit at this time of year to be able to point to the portal because nobody has seen them play yet. Member when Nebraska got all lathered up about Casey Thompson because he threw one nice pass in their spring game? I member. There were podcasts and articles ad nauseum about how much of a game changer he was going to be based on literally one play.
  17. I think he actually brought in some quality defensive coaches this cycle who know how to recruit. Similar to Texas, it isn't hard to be successful once you graduate from the land of gross incompetence. It wouldn't surprise me to see USC have a good class.
  18. So I just spent way too much time going through his highlights from this past year. I am not sure this one is anything to be too broken up about if he does go elsewhere. He has nice vision and is slippery in the hole to pick up extra YAC, but both Clark and Gibson are similar players in terms of skillset. He doesn't jump off the screen as being elite.
