  1. My only regret is @bad_teammate never took the cue to come on stage left and dominate all you morons. Except mchookem, she’s smart and cool. Well, that and the boneitis.
  2. I’m gnashing my teeth. Burst at the seems. Doing everything I can to draw back in @bad_teammatefrom talking about stupid football things and getting back to being the amazing poster in CR. I’m crying out for attention. This is me posting like someone who said they’ve eaten a whole bottle of aspirins but really didn’t.
  3. Wow never thought Jimmy would say it, but nice “make America great again” statement. Good for you, little man.
  4. Unlike y’all, and even me, this formermav guy is the best among us. He’s a pure heart and leave him alone!
  5. I think NOT thinking that was hilarious was not showing a hint of awareness. So, I guess we will have to disagree to agree that you are a humorless loser.
  6. Wait you think he was a refugee at the time of birth? Do you know what the word “refugee” means? That’s a serious question.
  7. Haha you could legitimately compete in a woman’s heat and cause zero controversy because you are such a big vagina. Everyone would just nod our heads in unison with a, “yea, naturally!”
  8. Um….okay. Winning this metaphor obviously means a lot to you so I’ll concede that yours is more accurate. See what I did there? Humility.
  9. @cactusflinthead welcome to the party you pathetic loser. Would you like to pair negging everything in sight with a very stupid opinion as well tonight or just gonna stick with your usual, comfortable preternatural state of cowardice?
  10. Actually the Catholics are more like modern day Sadducees Evangelicals are more like the Zealots (Sikarim).
  11. The Catholic leaders. The pope. The bishops, etc.
  12. Sure Jan, George Glass you say. The only cult I would want to belong to is above the fray of mewling bitter liberals like you and stupid mouthbreathing MAGAs, but Lobo keeps rejecting my application with a form letter.
  13. Thanks for inquiring about my statuses, I love mentioning them! I’m Executive Platinum with AA and a Lifetime Titanium status with Bonvoy by way of SPG. I’ve been to Western Europe many, many times, the Middle East a couple of times (Oman once and every other time Dubai), and Asia once. I was also in Canada once a month for a year pre-Covid. Everywhere I’ve ever gone people have loved me and respected America. Because we are exceptional. You can be anything you want in America. You can even be a billionaire in America and have it not matter that people on the internet don’t like it and spend hours of their time creating fiscal and tax and social policies that are outlandish for the amusement or like-minded internet friends. You can even have opinions like goofy and bull neck that we would be second-hand embarrassed for if we heard the mentally ill drunk at the bar railing about. America!
  14. I’m honestly curious, what are your plans for 1/6/2022? Are you going to buy a bunch of balloons and a cheap case of Kirkland wine from Costco and invite all your friends to cram into your cheap apartment and watch CNN and just enjoy being so aggrieved as you all frown in your glasses and increasingly cry about how Democracy is now irrecoverably broken as the night goes on? That’s how I picture you and your cats celebrating the day you haven’t been able to shut up about all year.
  15. Look, everything you said was reasonable and I am sorry for the personal attack; I get triggered when my American Exceptionalism gets pricked, especially when the rhetoric and logical fallacy is an appeal to authority on what freaking Western Europeans think of us, as if the opinions of sheep cross the mind of a lion.
  16. That’s the funniest part of that reply. As if the modern day Pharisees is to be revered or has spiritual authority.
  17. The best meal I ever had was in Poland. People are shook when I tell them that, but it's true. Better than any meal I've had in Paris, NYC, SF, Rome, etc.
  18. Sorry to interrupt your finance study, er, Monopoly game.
  19. We finally all agree on something! chi doc is different because he actually has 8 or 9 figures, but for most of us on here who work, we are HENRY’s (High Earners Not Rich Yet) and HENRY’s must turn liquid cash into equity if we ever want to escape being a HENRY before the sand is finished pouring on our HE days.
  20. My comment was more about realizing that the mental masturbation that goes on here with respect to social and especially tax policy is so divorced from reality that sometimes we forget, because of all the griping and crying by a minority of posters who represent a minority of Texas and America, that the cloak room is like a bunch of college freshman getting high in the dorm room and saying outlandish things instead of being anchored in reality in context of a nation of 300mm people and a large divide between two immense population and political groups.
  21. Is this where you betray an elementary understanding of finance and equate bankruptcy with being all out of money because you landed on Park Place too many times? Because if so, I’m here for it!
  22. The easiest thing to do is to remember that a lot of people on here are espousing insane tax and social policies that would never get a millisecond of serious debate in legislative chambers, but because they say it with such pomp and confidence I forget they are just bitter losers on the internets.
  23. It baffles the mind why you think the mediocre europeans available to you in your social circle and class strata has anything to do with the price of tea in China. Pos rep for picking up an Economist at Hudson News on your layover in Heathrow before jumping back in coach and lying about being a consistent reader of the Economist though. Even the Economist knows people don't read it and revamped their mobile app to provide bite-size news meant to be consumed in the time you drink coffee. lol
