  2. Chip Kelly realy is a POS. California's hightest-paid employee and he "quiet quit" on his job. https://www.latimes.com/sports/ucla/story/2024-03-05/analysis-chip-kelly-didnt-want-to-coach-ucla
  3. Comedians aren't supposed to be saving us. Historically, that is not in their job description. Historically, their job description has been to provide sugar hits. If you want to blame somebody for the content that's provided, blame us, the audience. The history channel is only showing us what we, via our eyeballs, are telling them we want.
  4. Maybe I'm not understanding the math, but it appears that IT is averaging something like 2.50 THOUSAND views.
  5. "The tragedy of the commons refers to a situation in which individuals with access to a public resource (also called a common) act in their own interest and, in doing so, ultimately deplete the resource. This economic theory was first conceptualized in 1833 by British writer William Forster Lloyd. In 1968, the term “tragedy of the commons” was used for the first time by Garret Hardin in Science Magazine. This theory explains individuals’ tendency to make decisions based on their personal needs, regardless of the negative impact it may have on others. In some cases, an individual’s belief that others won’t act in the best interest of the group can lead them to justify selfish behavior. Potential overuse of a common-pool resource—hybrid between a public and private good— can also influence individuals to act with their short-term interest in mind, resulting in the use of an unsustainable product and disregard the harm it could cause to the environment or general public." https://online.hbs.edu/blog/post/tragedy-of-the-commons-impact-on-sustainability-issues
  6. Holy crap what a finish to the state at Milan San Remo. What a descent!
  7. I would say that if you were born in the United States, have a University of Texas education, and can't write a grammatically correct sentence in a day and age when AI is right at your fingertips, you probably shouldn't be posting about the intellectual abilities of others. Five mistakes even AFTER editing? SHEESH!
  8. I may not be able to define "art" but I know what I like!
  9. Looks like we got us a real badass he-man poster here, fellas. I'd be careful around him.
  10. The Sandy Hook denialism puts him in Alex Jones territory for me. That's not a real good place to be.
  11. Agreed. I hope they're not doing it just because they need the money. I'm hoping the script is really good.
  12. Wait a minute. Alfred is gone at Ohio State? That has got to help us with Jordan Davison, right?
  13. It was the 7-Eleven and it was a decapitated head. The only reason I remember if because one of my asshole friends made a disgusting joke about it.
  14. Oh, yeah .. the dog is loving life, no doubt. He's got a yard the size of Austin to play in.
  15. It feels like every player in anybody's top 100 is going to visit Texas. What a 180 degree turnaround since five years ago. Literally EVERYBODY, especially receivers, wants to get themselves in front of Sark and staff.
  16. My sophomore year was the best four years of my life.
  17. I've written about my niece on this thread. She lives with her husband near Galena, Alaska, which is a very small settlement on the Yukon river. Galena demands a lot of its residents. About seven months ago she sent me a few photos of her husband with a moose that he shot. She said it took about 8 hours for him to field dress it and that he didn't get home until 2:30 a.m., but "at least now we have food for the winter."
