This site would be better if there weren't any dipshit Spurs fans posting here.

What do you have against Tottenham, and why is that relevant to the hoops forum?

    Yes, reconsider your life choices.

Yes. At least get Iran to agree to a ceasefire and get it to (temporarily) cease funding terror campaigns. I’m not sure some of yall realize how bad ass Israeli military is. Head to head, Israel would absolutely obliterate Iran. Is this a real question?

And how do you imagine Israel will get boots on the ground in Iran? Do you genuinely believe Jordan, Syria, Iraq or other Muslim nations would simply allow Israel unfettered access to their airspace, or that they'd be OK with columns of Israeli tanks and troops driving through their borders?

Israel doesn't have much of an amphibious surface fleet AFAIK, and it's not as if Egypt would allow one passage through the Suez, anyway. But the thought of an Israeli invasion force slowly working its way around the Arabian Peninsula definitely brings the chuckles.

This is entertaining, so please keep the answers coming.

They can without US support. Certainly without our putting fucking boots on the ground in Iran, which nobody suggested and is an insane proposition.

So you're contending that Israel--a nation of less than 10M people--could "easily" handle a land invasion of Iran, a nation with nearly 10 times the population and with several countries and/or bodies of water between it and Israel?

TJ was always a good ft shooter. He went 78% as a freshman to 82% as a sophomore. He was a bad 3 point shooter (15% and 25.5%) but hit them at critical times. I’m

Aldridge hurt his hip and had surgery before his freshman year ended. He spent the summer sitting on a stool and working on his shot.

I recall when LaMarcus was on campus, Barnes saying something to the effect that he couldn't keep Aldridge out of the gym. Kid was always working on his game, injury or not. Barnes had similar praise for KD.

I don't have statistics, but I remember TJ developing a serviceable midrange J between his freshman and sophomore seasons. And he also became the guy you _wanted_ at the line at the end of games. He was ice cold. I don't remember feeling that confident in him as a freshman.

Ford, Aldridge, Damion James….off the top of my head.

Ford definitely improved his J and his stroke from the charity stripe between his freshman and sophomore seasons.

However, Aldridge was a gym rat long before he showed up on the Forty.

I also want to recall Damion as having a decent jumper as a freshman, but that was more than 15 years ago. He improved from deep and showed some improvement at the free throw line, but I don't think it would be fair to say that neither he nor Aldridge could shoot. They could.

And that’s fine. Having 2 black holes on offense was such a losing play. Give me 5 players who can score the ball, instead of a Pg who fumbles it all the time and is clanks wide open shots and a forward who is allergic to offense unless it a dunk or putback

Neither Hunter nor Mitchell were "black holes." In basketball parlance, a black hole is a teammate who never passes once the ball is in his hands.

I’ve been fishing for 48 years and I’ve never encountered a more aggressive gator. He sat right by the Boat for a half hour like my dog begging for scraps. He wouldn’t shoo, was probably a she. Maybe defending her nest? Seriously freaked me out.

She obviously was hoping you'd climb up on the bow and practice your side-side technique while Miyagi patiently continued to fish.

  9. If Jason Kidd could develop a somewhat reliable 3-point shot, anyone can.

All it takes is repetition. Thousands and thousands and thousands of hours of repetition.

    Get to work, Dillon.

He's only dominant because he's large and NCAA officials can't officiate guys that size correctly. His game is completely unremarkable. He's athletic for his size but his skills are entirely mid.

He's also pretty clever. Doesn't offer much weakside help if the opponent has a clear path. Instead, puts his hands down by his side and allows the bucket.

I don't blame Edey. Just a flaw in the game and officiating that Painter exploits. The moment he gets a crew that "lets them play," his teams get bounced.

Congrats to them for finally making a FF, though.

how many gumbo threads to we have?

As many as it takes for @dcbc to get the recognition he deserves for the masterpiece he created.

Sounds like a little more research might be necessary to get the correct ratios, but it's inspired work. I'd definitely eat that and ask for thirds. Well done, dc!
