  1. I skipped Sark because CDC doesn’t drive the bus on that hire. Football coach performance affects his job, bc you can’t fire the BMDs who make the hire
  2. The two house districts in Michigan were Dems overperformed were not overly highly educated districts. HD-25 - 23.1% bachelor's degree. 65% white, 31% black HD-13 - 15.2% bachelor's degree, 49% white, 41% black Hard to say "only highly educated suburban voters come out for specials" when both these districts were well below the level of 2020 Michigan voters with a bachelor's degree (36%) and the Dem overperformed in both a majority-white district and a 40% black district.
  3. Two mid-week losses to RPI 222 and 241 Hooray - when we sink low, we usually end up a laughing stock. Losing to Kansas in football, losing to Radford and ACU in basketball, losing to TAMUCC and UTRGV in baseball
  4. Ranking Tyrese Hunter at 31 based on what, his freshman year ISU stats? Bc his performance at Texas doesn't warrant him a top-31 ranking in the portal
  5. Storr just seems to be making the rounds to find the highest bidder, if the rumors are true (asked Kansas for $1 million in NIL and turned down their counteroffer for $750k)
  6. Kari Lake to GOP voters in Arizona:
  7. https://www.cnbc.com/2024/04/16/biden-fund-gets-money-from-son-of-gop-donor-larry-ellison.html David Ellison, the son of Republican megadonor Larry Ellison, gave $929,600 to back the reelection efforts of President Joe Biden. The move to gain David Ellison’s support was largely orchestrated by Hollywood mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg, according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter. Oracle founder and chairman Larry Ellison has not donated this election cycle to Donald Trump, the Republican set to face Biden in November’s election in a rematch of the 2020 contest. Others who gave the same amount as David Ellison in the quarter include the attorney George Conway and Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz.
  8. CDC's hires before Texas: Vic Schaefer - 221–62 at Miss State, 2 national title appearances Mike White - 435–111–1 at Oregon, 5 conference titles, 5 WCWs appearances Bob Bowman - 2 Pac 12 titles, 1 national title at ASU Edrick Floreal - 2015 women's outdoor runner up at Kentucky, eight top 5 women's outdoor finishes, 6 indoor and outdoor men top 22 finishes None of those indicate we'd even glance at a HS coach. Period. His other 2 hires (RT - took us to the Elite Eight) and Berque (10 years at Michigan and led the team to a title as interim HC 2019) were promotions for interim coaches who led their teams to deep postseason runs or championships. He's going to nail the baseball hire. This isn't Mike Perrin running a search to land our 6th choice after a month of being turned down by everyone else.
  9. Both over performed Biden by ~2.5 points. RED WAVE
  10. 2.3 over performance in one district (D hold), TBD on the other
  11. One more mark on CDC’s “fire this idiot” scorecard
  12. It hit the relentless sign on the ricochet
  13. Sunday, Sept. 1 11:30 a.m.: Wisconsin vs. Texas Monday, Sept. 2 6:30 p.m.: Minnesota vs. Texas Also saw we go to Auburn on Nov 15
  14. No sign of Kentucky. Ole Miss last 4 out
  15. Texas is a 4 seed in Lundari’s way to fucking early 2025 bracket
  16. Yes, it's only April, but cash on hand totals: Montana: Tester $12.7m Sheehy $1.9m WIsconsin: Baldwin $10.3m Hovde $5.3m Michigan: Slotkin $8.6m Rogers $1.4m Nevada: Rosen $13.2m Brown $2.3m Ohio: Brown $16.0m Moreno $1.8m Arizona: Gallego $9.6m Lake $2.5m Pennsylvania: Casey $11.9m McCormick $6.2m
