I'm always worried about The Game.

Why? Shit is about as lopsided as you can get for any rivalry.

Jesus. I didn't realize how badly tOSU owns them since 2000. And there have been plenty of 10 win Michigan teams since then.

I can't believe people still consider that the "best rivalry" in cfb.

You don't know Michigan. Even if Harbaugh loses to MSU, PSU, and OSU this year he'll still get a fifth year. RichRod forced them to admit their mistake and fire him after three years because they couldn't afford to give him another year to decimate recruiting. That was atypical. Even firing Hoke after four years was still unusual for UM.

Back in the day most schools gave a new coach five years. You figured his first recruiting class might be weak so you let him coach his second class though their senior season then see where you stand. (Hell, look how long of a leash OSU gave John Cooper.)

Harbaugh is a Michigan Man. They brought out all the big guns including a bunch of his former teammates and other star players like Tom Brady to recruit him back to Ann Arbor. It would take extraordinary circumstances for them not to give him at least five years. Michigan is still pretty stodgy and old school. And without an obvious slam dunk replacement they're going to give Harbaugh plenty of time.

And they wonder why they don't compete for titles regularly...

Who says they're not competing for one right now? Big game in East Lansing this weekend.

Times change, though. Michigan finds way to lose that game these days. It's not even close.

past performance is no indicator of future returns, they were lucky to get out with a win in 2016

Michigan is going to run their most vanilla basic offense that they can until they need to do something differently.

Lots of runs up the middle. A bunch of zone reads that Patterson is always going to hand off to avoid injury and some very basic downfield shots.

Put nothing on tape for the game next weekend.

Michigan is going to bomb o$u next week.

Michigan still ran a very vanilla offense against Pedo, wiscy and sparty.

They haven’t had to open it up except for one half vs Northwestern.

Even the ND game after they got down big they still tried running a ball control offense which prevented them from having any shot once they went down 21-0. (And yes even though they got the ball back down a score with 2 minutes left they still didn’t take any chances because they couldn’t give Shea time to pass)

Lutz, Michigan’s playbook is three sheets of paper, one of which is the index.

In the modern game with its multiplayer multi-sets there is little reason to hold anything back. The fact you can run, throw or fake off of the same set negates holding back. Besides, it is better to run some off beat shit to overload your opponent to waste time preparing for something you have no intention of running.

Todays coaches lean far more on tendencies then simply where a player is lined up.

C'mon man. I fucking love Harbaugh, but Michigan isn't breaking out some fancy, unexpected offense for tOSU after running a mostly conservative offense through 11 games. They are what they are.

LOL, down at the half to Indiana. Harbaugh'd at the end of the half. tOSU is going to do dirty things to Michigan.

That was a cluster all the way around. Didn’t throw it in the end zone, offense couldn’t get set and the ref dropped the ball. Just bad all the way around.

Not spiking it after the first down was the dumbest thing since having gunners on a punt against 11 men on the line in the trouble with the snap game.

Alabama tied vs the citadel at the half. It’s strange but they actually play two halfs in a game

Harbough, the arrogant prick, costs his team 4 points minimum in the first half with his macho dumbassery.  His facial expression is priceless.

Yeah, by running basically two plays through the A and B gap for 30 minutes they kept from embarrassing their opponent. Then they clocked em for 40.

Harbaugh needs to do what Stoops did to save his ass.... Hire a Lincoln Riley type OC if he can find one.... and recruit more elite speed talent at the skill positions....

Suckeyes made Michigan look slow..... Also, Maryland and Purdue both have much more speed and quickness on their offense than wolverines

Michigan has plenty of speed... they just don’t have the coaches to put them anywhere close to the right positions.

Bush, Gary, chase, long, Hill are all going to go in the top 50 of the NFL draft and have plenty of speed.

Harbaugh apparently not watching ANY tape on o$u all season and seeing that 99% of their offense is short crossing patterns put his defense in awful positioning. Don brown doesn’t get his ass whooped very often but today he did.

FSU has lots of speed....  Lots.   That worked out well for them this year.   Harbaugh has speed.  He just does not know what to do with it.

Ohio State was noticeably faster than Michigan today. If you can’t see that, then there’s nothing to discuss with you because you are either so myopic that you can’t have a reasonable discussion, or you don’t know a fucking thing about the sport.

Jim Harbaugh is a loudmouthed version of Mack Brown. He’s all hat and no cattle when it comes to getting shit done in a rivalry. They were outclassed in every way today. They got punched in the mouth and they shit themselves and sobbed in the fetal position, rocking in a corner, while Ohio State buttfucked their girlfriend on the couch. You should be ashamed as a fan.

Ohio State vs. Michigan underlines why Tom Herman has been so hell-bent, both in his actions and in his words, in upgrading the speed on our roster.
