Wife’s been a customer for 30 years.  She’s sometimes too brand loyal. It was the only Major bank where she went to college other than a farm savings and loan.  We have two other banking relationships but she can’t quit WF.

I shouldn't be too critical; I may also have a Wells Fargo account that I don't even know about.

Quite alright.  I was agnostic about them until about 2015 when they proved they could fuck up everything including change of a dollar.  Now I just laugh when I see another one of their branches get shut down.  The model of buy up cheap real estate west of the Mississippi and offer shitty customer service did work nicely for over a century.  They’re just a glorified atm at this point, like south Austin’s mom.

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell held a closed-door meeting with Democrats on the House Financial Services Committee on Tuesday where he provided an update on the Fed’s central bank digital currency (CBDC) progress, Politico reported. ...

These folks are working on the framework for totalitarian control.

Why did Powell meet behind closed doors with only Democrat members of the HFSC?  Is this a partisan issue?

Ah, bitcoin.com, an obviously unbiased view of things. How can it now be written by this fellow who described himself thusly in his bio:

Kevin Helms
A student of Austrian Economics, Kevin found Bitcoin in 2011 and has been an evangelist ever since. His interests lie in Bitcoin security, open-source systems, network effects and the intersection between economics and cryptography.
