The argument for impeachment that has stuck with me is that you're forcing Republican Senators to go on the record with their support for Trump. The consequences of that could lead to voters putting Ds in power in the Senate, which is super important.

Which, I think, is why they have delayed as much as they can. They want that list to be as fresh as possible on voters minds. Start this a year ago, and the narrative could have been destroyed time and time again with a populace of mostly apathetic and forgetful voters.

I voted for Trump because there was no way I was voting for Corrupt Clinton.  I voted for Trump in the Primary because I was tired of politicians and I thought a business person / outsider would either do something great or burn down the government.  I may get my wish.

I would possibly vote for Yang or Tulsi.

Democrats have gone way too far left with all of their policies.

I want to hear about my politicians passing bills, daily, weekly. Compromising in the middle, Don't add that pork to a bill.

I don't see an impeachment in Dotards future.

I see him winning in 2020 due to voters getting fed up on wasting time and resources on politics/impeachment instead of dealing with our real issues.

Your calling me names for supporting conservatism hurts your cause.

I think people were skittish to vote Donald on his last election, but people may show up even more because of some of the far left candidate policies.

Prediction:

Re-Election : Yes Impeachment : No

Exhibit A of The Stupidity of the American Voter.

This is why we're in this mess. And not enough people voting for the other candidate.

Clinton policies of course, also  I don't pick my candidate on how they look, or what race, color they are.

This is the perfect post to summarize why our country is broken. Seriously, I wouldn’t change a word.

Bills not being passed? Blame Democrats. No compromise? Blame Democrats. Too much pork? Blame Democrats.

Any mention of Republicans controlling the entire government for 2 years? Of course not. When only one party is expected to act like adults, this is the reaction.

And nobody is calling you names for being conservative. They’re calling you names for being disingenuous and/or a dumbass. It’s a shame that all three are synonyms these days.

So if you reveal your age, no matter which cohort you're a part of, there is a 100% chance of being labeled somethingoranother?

Too late.

But, it's not all bad. Now you can go to the board discussion and whine about being mistreated. Tell sack and hooker I said hey.

Yes, because there's no one less corrupt than a New York City real estate tycoon accused of sexual assault by double digit women.

You're obviously a card-carrying Republican, like all others who spout that line as their excuse for voting for this piece of shit.  As if you were ever not voting for him.  If you weren't a card-carrying Republican and you gave a shit about corruption, you would've voted for Gary Johnson.  But you are, and you don't.

Edit: And I think there might even be enough Republicans with a sense of history and love of country to do the right thing and vote to remove.  But this may be wishful thinking.

You labeled yourself in a group.

"Your calling me names for supporting conservatism hurts your cause. "

Also, you are grouping others.  Someone calls you a name and you blame everyone to the left of you as a group.

Furthermore, you chose the division.  Nobody is trying to "divide people" further.  Trump is division incarnate.  He has intentionally alienated pretty much everyone except white males.  You chose to be in that white males only group rather than joining a group that accepts everyone including white males.  Latinos aren't just going to happily go into cages in the spirit of "unity" with you.

They keep running that impeachment will only get Trump elected yet they continue to fight it the whole way--try to deter testimony from their own, try to out the whistleblower, undermine the case with your personal DOJ, the impeachment inquiry is messing with fat sack DOTUS's sanity, along with toilets and light bulbs, Rudy is back in the Ukraine, Trump and his children rant excessively about it daily, etc.  None of this backs up the idea that Republicans don't care about impeachment or that the electorate is getting more frustrated with false impeachment narrative and will reelect his sorry ass.   The public very much cares, believes he's corrupt and has proven so in recent elections where the House went wildly Democrat and 3 red state governors went Democrat.  The POTUS and Republicans very much are scared.

Furthermore, assclown In chief has chosen to run with dictators which see him being strung out daily all over the news, his candidates losing in elections despite his support, continued investigations into his finances, personal life and his associates getting jailed and he looks like he can't control shit.  He knows he looks weak on the world stage, especially when videos of world leaders making fun of him go viral.  He chose to run with corrupt types because that's what he associates with, has fostered his dishonest business practices and has hitched his businesses to and now he has to continue dialogues with them which he fostered and get treated like Fredo.  No way this is sustainable long term.  I can't help but think it implodes when the American people or his foreign Dictator cronies cash in their chips.  And I don't think his health allows him to remain upright until November 2020.

So instead you voted for a charlatan, a con man who ripped off by numerous contractors/venders/investors for his own financial gain. Want proof? Doing this simple Google search begins to tell you the story, and doing it in 2016 would have told you many of the same things. I know because I did it and found everything I needed to know he's a con man in about 20 minutes. https://www.google.com/search?q=donald trump lawsuits fraud&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-m

I voted for Trump in the Primary because I was tired of politicians and I thought a business person / outsider would either do something great

Again, a quick internet search would have told you you're voting for a businessman who has bankrupted casinos and casino/resorts not once or twice, but SIX times. A businessman who was not self made but instead gifted hundreds of millions from his daddy and used that family wealth name to fleece much more from investors in fraudulent ventures across the world.

or burn down the government.  I may get my wish.

So you're such a baby just because you're a lowlife loser with no resourcefulness you want to actively contribute to burning down the country you reside in? To fucking all of your fellow countrymen over?

I would possibly vote for Yang or Tulsi.

No, you wouldn't. You're just trying to divert from your idiocy by hinting you may be looking around to change your vote. If you can't see what a shitty thing you did now it'll never change.

Democrats have gone way too far left with all of their policies.

They actually have not. Most elected democrats in recent history have been far more fiscally conservative than the republican party of the last 20 years. In the last 25 years by far the most fiscally conservative president has been Bill Clinton. By far. The two republican presidents since have been far more egregious and offender of fiscal conservatism than the Democrat. Now, under trump we're seeing the dawn of $1 trillion a YEAR budget deficits. https://www.forbes.com/sites/chuckjones/2019/07/29/trumps-budget-deficits-could-almost-double-obamas/#31e26b237693

was a time of back and forth negotiations on federal budgets that saw the last time the US will ever see anything close to a balanced budget. That was republicans and democrats compromising in the end on some actual fiscal conservatism. Now, republicans are responsible for the outlandish spending more than anyone.

I want to hear about my politicians passing bills, daily, weekly. Compromising in the middle, Don't add that pork to a bill.

Then go ask McConnell why he and his republican cohorts won't pass or even actively negotiate terms on the dozens and dozens of bills the Democrat house sends regularly. Why does he just kill every bill that comes his way? Who is telling(and paying) him to do this?

I don't see an impeachment in Dotards future.

Well, it's the future now and you're a fucking idiot.

I see him winning in 2020 due to voters getting fed up on wasting time and resources on politics/impeachment instead of dealing with our real issues.

So a president who hasn't dealt in a meaningful way with any issues and instead has spent 3 years golfing/grifting/commiting crimes and campaigning for himself and his hate filled ideas is going to get re-elected because voters are tired of money spent to hold him accountable for his crimes and to the money he steals from voters every day?

Your calling me names for supporting conservatism hurts your cause

You support the exact opposite of conservatism and support the entities who are destroying the principles of negotiation, compromise, and civility that 200 years of American stability of government were built on. You actively support the party responsible for perpetrating third world shithole practices like tribal politics and propaganda to destabilize our government.

I think people were skittish to vote Donald on his last election, but people may show up even more because of some of the far left candidate policies.

Skittish to vote for a candidate for policies that oppose conservatism. Then after that candidate wins and spends 3 years stealing and commiting crimes, which are in direct opposition to true conservatism, the real conservatives are going to vote for him even more? If he wins re-election it means conservatism is dead in the water and Americans are officially complete imbeciles who vote for mass corruption and destabilizing entities because they're too stupid to realize the consequences.

This is how easy it is to disprove people who think like this dumbass.

I'm one of the five at this point who has predicted removal. At this moment, I can see why there are so few votes that way. However, I think the snowball is rolling with allegations and evidence which will only grow bigger.

I don't know how that would play out exactly, but I could imagine behind the scenes bargaining where some semi-dirty GOPs vote to remove in exchange for not being taken down with the dirtier GOPs who knew about the criminal enterprise top to bottom. I feel like some GOPs likely received bad money without knowing it or not bothering to swim against the current.

The GOP senators proved with Kavanaugh and blocking Obama's nominee that you cannot count on any of them to make a stand on principle. They've reinforced this daily. They fear jail and ruin. I can't see any reason Olev and Igor and the NRA and the Manafort pipeline would be the only conduits of corruption. I think more is exposed and enough of the GOPs in office will sell Trump to better there own prospects while others will go down with ship.

My political predictions are traditionally way off, so I don't often indulge in soothe saying. I'm sure this one will embarrass me as well.

I just don't see the Senate coming to any such deal w/respect to Rs. I mean you've got Ted Cruz saying he believes Ukraine meddled in the the election, trying to bring up Fox/GOP/Russia talking points on MSNMC today. As much as everyone loathes Ted, I didn't get the feeling he was stupid enough to fall for the propaganda, so that means he is willingly and knowingly siding with everything this country and his role as Senator should stand for. Unless he is running a huge bluff, I expect him along with the other Senators to vote to acquit. I see know indication that GOP senators are conferring behind the scenes in any way, shape, or form. The scams and corruption are out in the open, there is no accountability and no truth. Look at all the people that have been found guilty and sentenced, and because Trump has shuffled people in and out of his Administration, even the well-informed have a difficult time keeping track of who was fired, who resigned, who was arrested, and who is even in the country. Heck, if Trump had one of his goons start offing people after they cleared out their desks, some folks would just shrug.
