I’ve been reading since the rangers off season started back in July that they should go after rendon.

Not sure why he’d choose Arlington but we do need a 3b, among other things.

New stadium, new energy, close to family in Houston but without the hurricanes/hard to avoid flooding/endless mosquitoes/6-month sauna.

Yeah I was just being sarcastic.
I can't see the Angels making a move like that at all. They seem content with having Trout and sucking shit through a straw every year.

They have already said they are spending money again this post season. Maddon doesn’t take the job without knowing the purse is open again.

So, keep the likely cy young winner tossing in the pen in favor of a tired Harris and osuna.  Sounds...tough to defend in a post game interview.

Cole has never thrown a pitch in relief in the MLB. I think what Smoltz said about having him start an inning fresh made sense from that standpoint.

Wicked Wiki.

Juan José Soto Pacheco (born October 25, 1998), nicknamed Childish Bambino,[1] is a Dominican professional baseball outfielder for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball (MLB). Soto signed with the Nationals as an international free agent in 2015. He made his MLB debut in 2018. He is the father of all the Astros.

Eh. Dude is a strikeout power pitcher.  I’d have bet on him being fine unless he told hinch before the game he had a preference. At least have him start the 8th instead of having osuna go back out. Or, let grienke work out of it. Quick hook but that’s a tougher call.
