The timing of this is all fucked up. No way this was Sark's idea, unless Saban got wind of the imminent hiring and said get yourself on the plane because I don't want a distracted OC for the NC game.

That's true. Why wouldn't we just wait a little while longer and do it the day after the NC game? It's very weird.

it just doesn't make sense. Bellmont had done a fucking amazing job shutting down leaky valves after the BOR/Urban flight info. After that week it was complete silence. There was going to be complete silence unless something/someone forcing the announcement. Maybe someone threatened to leak, maybe Herman himself? My guess is that it's Saban saying GTFO and having a day or two to deal with the drama and then getting the team back to focus on the NC.

Just saw that Saban said Sark will remain w/ Bama through the NC game. Now this makes no sense at all. Why willingly have this announcement today? All it does is add a shitton of distraction on Bama players.

The national narrative of your program does matter. Oh look huckleberry is here to set everyone straight. Got a badass over here get out of the way!

A program's success sets the narrative, not vice versa, but you're still too stupid to figure that out. If we were winning the talking heads would say different things. So go ahead and cry about media people "setting the narrative" which doesn't mean anything to anyone except for caterwauling vaginas, mewling quims, and crying pussies.
