I was a kid in 1980, a time to cry and i did. Then came 1986 and I was a UT freshman. I gave up on baseball after that, didn't watch a regular season game for decades. Great players came and went, had 10-15 year HOF careers and I had no idea who they were.  I watched a couple of world series games in the 90s. In the 2000s had no idea who played in the classic, who won, had to look it up.

Baseball is heroin. It will draw you into madness if you let it. So much effort with 10x the football games in a season, anyone can beat anyone in the post. Just too unpredictable. The highest highs, the lowest lows, no other sport can compare to this witch.

Now I'll be watching so call big CFB matchups, all so meaningless after this week. Baseball will carve out your heart.
