If J Lo was wearing a maroon colored outfit with an SEC badge on her mons pubis, Bag Hag would be telling the world what an flawless performance it was by one of Jimbo's angels.

Not clear. Are we talking about JLO's or Bag Hag's mom's pubes?

It always cracks me up knowing Georgia gets some bad ass recruits and haven't won a championship in 40 years. All that money spent and a shitty sec east trophy to show for it. Jesus.

Also their assistant coaches are turning over in droves, the only constant is the one holding them back the most. Until he has the same epiphany that Orgeron had, Georgia will never be anything more than the top 2 in the East. Though I imagine Florida is going to pass them soon enough.

I'm with you on that. Even if Georgia out-recruits Florida, Florida will surpass them on play alone. I have zero faith that Georgia will ever win a championship with Smart at the helm.

I thought she met Hamm at the Dixie Chicken and tried her best to seduce him with some ovaries and Michelob Ultra, but he spurned her and went home to his wife and kids.  Then when he stumbled to the front door, the Sheriff served him with the divorce papers.

I think I saw a porno with that exact plot.

Tennessee is the bigger offender in that. Has been an absolute dumpster fireonger than UT but still rakes in top 5 recruiting classes, regardless of coach.

Not gonna lie, I always forget Tennessee even has a football program. That's how long it's been since they've been relevant. I see them as a basketball school now haha

They haven't had a top 5 class since 2015. They're usually in the teens.

It's a tough school to recruit to - their in-state crop isn't as good as Georgia's, and they have so many huge powers around them. They're not particularly well located in the state, too, in terms of recruiting. It's a huge pain in the ass for Memphis kids to get over there and the Bamassippi schools are right there.

Georgia is definitely the biggest offender, and I hate to say it, but we're up there, too. Highly ranked classes and nothing to show for it. Oof.

Ranked 10 this year, one behind Texas.

And you said "rakes in top 5 classes" like that's a thing they do on the reg. In recent history, they're usually in the teens.

I drove from Memphis to Knoxville and back during the holidays in 2018. That trip is a beating for anyone. Not just the distance, but the mountains and the odd weather in the mountains and the notorious traffic it causes - nope nope nope. Would not want to do that regularly.

Now Knoxville the city was small and nice. I could definitely see the allure of living there for 3-5 years.

driving from Richmond to Nashville is just the halfway point from getting to Austin.  I enjoy the cooler mountain weather for the summer trips I take back home.  You also notice the number of Churches throughout TN?  Swear I saw more Churches than FLying Js

I was traveling to knoxville frequently for business the last two years. There is no good way in or out of that place, but they do have some nice spots in town and a surprisingly good food scene. There are worse places that you could wind up, but I say that as someone far removed from college. As a college student that town would easily rank above BCS but what is that really saying?

Guessing you are around 25 then. They were really good for a long time and even won a national championship 20ish years ago. Peyton manning also played for them.

However, if you are a real football fan you likely know these facts and are just lying. Or, not a fan of college football and had no idea.

Of course I know these. Didn't Tennessee share their title? Can't remember the qb name who won it, but it was after Peyton left. I was just saying it's been awhile since I remember them being relevant. I think they were decent, not great when Eric Berry was there and won the Thorpe.

Now, I can't remember watching Tennessee win their title since it's a little bit before I was a football fan and a kid, but I definitely know they won it, but always remember it was shared (or maybe Michigan's is shared?)

Using google can be very difficult for some people.

Yep. I went to bed wondering and looked it up this morning. Dude is a damn good recruiter, I believe. Pretty sure he's a bit slimy, tho. Not sure how well of a position coach he is.

Saw he's a WR coach, so inconclusive since I don't watch Tennessee, but can only think of Patterson for the Raiders.

There are some people in the world connected to the internet but yet unaware of google search and who still search for things using the somewhat unwieldy category and subcategory method yahoo came up with back in the 90s.
